I rode this back in 1976 when my family took a vacation to Florida. My mom has a funny picture of me, my sister and my dad just after we came down the final drop. The "logs" have I-hooks on them (you can see the front one in the video) and when we looked at the picture, the rear hook lined up perfectly under my dad's right ear. It looked like he was wearing a big earring! This was a fun ride that seemed MUCH bigger when I was 11 years old. Great memories.
I may be a wimp but this ride scared me! Would ride it again but I think I left my stomach up on that drop. Looking at it is not that bad though. My aunt was holding onto me the entire time haha
My mom Courage me to go with her , And I was like "Yah Whatever let's go on , Its only one Drop right?" , Everything was normal until that First Little Tiny drop , Me again " Wait was that the first drop?! , I WANT TO GET OUT MUM!" And then.....Nothing Happens but I almost throw up
Back in Washington, D.C.... I went to six flags there and the log ride. U went up, A side turn then the big drop.... There were no Rails for the drop.. U slip down.. And the splash was 10x bigger xd... But hure I am... Back in Florida Tampa.... I can't wait to go there tomorrow!! :)
I can still see traces of when the flume was still painted blue and the water was clear. I guess that was when it opened. Yeah, I used to go to BG when there was an Anheuser brewery and a monorail African Veldt tour. Way before any roller coasters or log rides.
It's a lot better than a parent bringing their screaming brat, MEANING to film the ride, but films their child 90% of the time, and then saying "Stanley Falls On Ride". I hate that. I love this person. Nice and quiet.
Come on yall give the poor antique ride a break yeah its went through some hard ages but i thought it was fun when i was a kid and im going some time this week. I havent been on it in 10 years.
@michaeltymich actually, the water in real life is not "dirty" looking. it's actually clean water when you see it in person. stanley falls does need a paint job though.
log rides scare me. I went on adventure to Atlantis at seaworld and it was like a boat with this big 60 foot drop. I would be scared to do that again tbh
call me a baby but i went on this and got so scared haha! totally left my stomach on that big drop. i hate the pit feeling in your stomach on coasters it sucks 😂
1heavymetalboy Me Scoot. Because the water is A LOT cleaner Le Scoot is a lot more fun and has a lot more theming plus it is next to alpengiest so it interacts with the coasters a lot more

I got my middle finger injured. It was so bad the bandage needed me to hold my middle finger, which would be very embarrassing
