I love Cadiilacs 1988. Best stylings, best body, greats engines, great interior and nice space interior. I want theses Caddys 1988. Beautifuls and sexy cars
@vettefreak89 lol nice! I thought it'd be cool to have a small Laserdisc collection, but that was before I found out you had to stop the movie and flip the disc half way through. Which seems frustrating
@bajabusta ya I couldn't get the tape to track properly. The quality must be better on a laser disc, but finding a player sounds impossible lol I wanted to buy something interesting to use as a winter car this season and something like a Cimarron would have been awesome since nobody would know what it was. But I ended up with a '94 Saturn SC1
@redneon06 The SC1 seems like a good car so far, but its completely gutless. I only bought it to keep my Lincoln Mark VIII, and Taurus SHOs away from the salt this winter
In reply to "PresidentialV12AMGKit", what you "think" about these cars being the "worst Caddy's ever". My 88' Brougham bought 14 years ago is still in great shape and driven daily. My friend has an 89' Brougham until a few years ago and it ran great. Got it for a smaller more practical college car. Hated getting rid of it. The Cimarron was a re-badged Cavelier and like the Catera, you will be hard pressed to find any of these at any Cadillac Club gathering. These were mechanical "lemons".
Not true. I owned a 1988 Cadillac Cimarron for over a decade. Was the best car I ever owned. Had 285,000 miles when I finally decided to get a new car. Still ran beautiful and looked great. Don't cast negativity when you never owned one.
I ls swapped my 88 Brougham. Now it's a fast comfortable highway cruiser that can really go if I want to. I've had it up to 120 mph. The stock 307 is super smooth but the 5.3 ls power is just so much fun
Love seeing my car in a video like this
