This is a most perfect video. The lyrics of the background song match the pictures on the screen. The singing style is most romantic. The man on the screen (Stewart Granger!!!) was the most dangerously charming man ever to grace the silver screen. Thank you, Truth & Justice. I enjoyed it.

Yes, the face of Stewart Granger could make women's pulse race with those handsome looks and a voice that delivered dialogue that could make many an actor cringe in shame. They just couldn't compete. Stewart was a performer of jaw-dropping talent who played in every conceivable genre of film. He was always aware of the weight of his audience's expectations as an actor, and he tried not to repeat himself thematically. He did not shy away from playing dark characters - Footsteps in the fog and Moon Fleet. These films are a testament to his mastery at playing dark and delirious characters. and, here again, he raised the bar. A film like "Young Bess" [with then-wife Jean Simmons] was a muscular standout in the biopic genre. He was in the Western [in early 60's] North to Alaska with John Wayne. The film, however, was about thrills and spills than quality acting. None of the actors were expected to perform because there wasn't much by way of characterization. In the 60's, Stewart branched out to make movies in Europe and most of them were either historical [Sodom & Gomorrah] or espionage stuff. It's still a pleasure to watch one of his oldies like "Madonna of the 7 Moons' and realize why he brought so much of magic to the silver screen.

@@nenabunena Yes, you are right, but the film's title was All the brothers were valiant in which he starred with Robert Taylor and Anne Blyth. I do recall, he romances a native girl, played by Betta St. John.

@ianedwards4400 oh that's right, I sometimes mix up the titles. I liked his love story with the native girl in the film, if true. Wish he was more popular today and we had some good fanfics on him and his films
