This was such a different song stylistically and lyrically when it was released into the feel good party music of American top 40 at the time. I think it might have cracked the top 10.

Even though she is talented enough to play any and all instruments, KNULP can be just as impactful with just her voice and a single guitar. Bravo, this was wonderful.

Your music selection keeps doing this for me (memory lane). Thanks Knulp!❤😊 Edit: I realize that I was remiss in not commenting on the song itself, just remembering my SV experience. It's poignant and makes me sad to think about abusive relationships. I never experienced them personally, not in my family or my friends families, or my own relationships with women However, there was one girl that I was very close to, and she worked for me, and she told me about her sexual abuse by a family member. I will always love her.😢
