Avichaea, Son Tokens, and My Fastest Hunting Method for Entrati Rank 3

- HOTFIX UPDATE: A patch has massively reduced the number of tokens necessary to rank up the Entrati so you likely won't need to farm the hunting animals. They've also fixed pathing on the echo-lures and I've gotten Avichaea from playing the conservation mini-game myself now.
A quick video guide to explain what I think is the best method for farming the necessary Avichaea and other animal captures to advance to Rank 3 in Warframe's new Entrati faction. This method allowed me to farm up all the necessary captures to achieve Rank 3 in the Entrati in only 3 hours of fairly casual play.
Hopefully this helps anyone who doesn't want to endure many hours of the normal hunting minigame in the new Heart of Deimos expansion and gets you that Helminth segment for your orbiter.

Avichaea lure spawns are still broken it seems, tried to hunt those like 20 minutes ago.
Figures. Well hopefully people find a way themselves or catch a vid like this one to help 'em get that done. It's really bothersome that such a core part of the progression this xpac is so busted. This is the main faction progression we're talking about.
if you want the common variety do not use pheromones, if you are tracking Avichaea

According to another video I looked at for this, the Avachaea spawn *above* the target, rather than along the ground, and come down towards the lure from there. Give that a try and see if it works. They say it's usually easier to spot them if you do it when the sky is blue, as they tend to be orange-ish in color.

Nah man, if something isn't working in Warframe, your first instinct should always be that it's JAFB (just another effing bug) and not that you're doing it wrong :)

Yeh they patched about an hour after I put up the vid, but hey, there's still some value in showing an alternate farming method. And I'm glad we have dependable Avichaea spawns now. I really wish youtube still let us put text overlays on vids so I could say during the vid that the spawns have been fixed.
And I don't have subscribers because I don't promote and I've only been at it for about a month. We'll see what happens. It's been fun regardless.

@@dole-brentbayalas854 You should be able to get them from the actual hunting mini-game nodes now. I've not tried yet but that's what the hotfix says.

After six hours of hunting them i manage to get over 12 rare ones but not one single common and about 81 animals.... but i just found this video and i got the last ont that i needed :). This is still working awesome thanks:).

31st of Aug, avichaea did spawn 5 of 6 times, but they tend to hover 50-100m above the call point, was only able to spot them through the tranq-scope especially when terrain was blocking LOS. Stay invisible and use sleep arrow to tranq them.

Just a heads up, I managed to spawn Avichaeas consistantly after using a lure by flying above the point in Archwing. Then they spawned right there. Might work for some.
It should work for everyone, they patched echo lure pathing about 6 hours after I made this vid. I made a note in the description that echo lures are more consistent now ;)

So the technique of going around map... can it spawn every single animal and every variant of it? Or only certain ones around edge?
I've encountered almost every variant going around the map, but if you are specifically hunting certain rare animals you would be WAY better off using pheromones on echo lure points.
@@ShawnKollat tyvm for the answer, i started hunting yesterday first time so i was wondering, so that means whilst hunting the commoj variants for there tags i may run into the uncommon ones so that's good :)
They do show up above the spawn point you can check it out

I'm wondering how I can get a Medjay Predasite Tag. Can somebody please tell me where to find this animal?
For those ultra rare ones I'd definitely recommend using pheromones on an echo-lure spot. I got a medjay randomly, but it's very uncommon to find them that way.

Unless there is some particular information that is not mention I try this technique for 2 hours and I didn't find one of those required tags
Now that they've patched the pathing I'd definintely recommend using the echo lure points to find the Avichaea and the Medjay. I got them the way I showed here, but that was before the patch and probably is not the best way anymore. I've made a note in the description. Good luck man.

Just a heads up, they say they have fixed the Avichaea spawns in todays patch so they may be working now. I haven't checked.

How do I find the medjay predasite because I haven’t had any luck yet?
Yeh they're super rare, I have seen them in the wild, but only a couple. The good news is that the normal hunting mini-game for predasites works so you can just use a pheromone on those and pull one pretty quickly.

The Medjays are really rare to encounter randomly, I've seen only 2 randomly. So for those I would use a pheromone on an echo lure spot and target them that way. Should only take a few tries.

Great video. The calls were not working for me at all. One tip, take all the avichaea off your tranquilizer gun or they won't spawn. I believe the game expects you to do it the hunt minigame. With a resource booster one group of three and your done.
I really wish I'd have thought of the resource booster before I made the vid. Hopefully most people are cleverer than me ;)

Yeh I added a note in the description that the patch fixed the enemy pathing and the echo lures are working for Avichaea.
@@ShawnKollat I have to disagree that they fixed it, since i spent 2 hours of doing it with lures and 0 of the spawned for me. No issues with any of the other lures though.
this must be pc, ps4 spawns are hortiable, 2 hrs and 1 spawned with boosters

Yeh I've added a note in the description that the patch from 2 days ago seems to have fixed the pathing issues as they claim it did so you can echo-lure the Avichaea with success now. Definitely the way to do it now.

This was patched unfortunately but they do spawn in their hunt now,Unfortunately they will sometimes (Alot of sometimes) Get stuck in the structure...so yeah still annoying

I got a little depressed when I started getting into it too, but once I gave up on the hunting minigame and just started looking for the animals randomly things got a lot less painful.
Took me 4 days to catch em lol didn’t know where they spawn but I was mainly around this area also
Honestly I think the biggest problem finding the Avichaea is how tiny they are. Same with the Cryptilex. I'm sure I've passed over an entire zoo's worth of those guys.

Nah they fixed the avichaea spawns a couple of months ago. They spawn at the conservation points now so thats a great way to find them now.

Yeh I keep toying with that idea but I have yet to discover a way to put music in without covering over my very softspoken voice. I've only been putting up vids for a couple of months so I'm still figuring things out.

Yesterday's patch brought it down from 10 son tokens to 1. So we can all live a normal life again.

They lowered it 1 hour after I put up the vid :) But hey it has always been the case that the best way to win at Warframe is not to actually figure out solutions to problems, it's to whine until DE lowers the bar for success.

I’m having no problem with these hunts honestly. It seems that people don’t realise they fly . I guess the best tip for finding the target is to use a Helios

Yeh I've actually verified that they are spawning correctly post-patch. They might have been pre-patch as well but I couldn't find them then and I can now.

Yeh they only show up rarely and are VERY easy to miss. The good news is that they patched the hunting mini-game so the Avichaea can be farmed that way, I did it this morning and I would tell anyone to go do that now. I've added a note in the description that Avichaea echo-lure spawns are fixed.

I'm fucking done with this game. I tried this for two fucking hours and not a single one of these shitty little birds spawned. Tried doing the echo-lure thing, and guess what? It spawned inside the wall. When I tranquilized it, it clipped through the world and died. What a fantastic update.

Yeah, after three days I haven't had a single Avichaea spawn. I'm 15 days from 600th login and I've slogged through years of boring fishing games and broken updates to grind out gear because those handful of times the RNG gods smiled upon me were just enough to keep me coming back. But Deimos is such a train wreck of bugs I finally had do admit it's just not fun anymore and I deleted everything so I'm not tempted to sink any more time into the game. I can deal with updates being works in progress, but when devs start outright wasting my time because they've become this complacent it's time to stop rewarding their indifference toward their own business model.

They already nerfed it! More accurately, they fixed the pathing that was making the Avichaea disappear on their way to the echo lure. So really the way to find Avichaea consistently now is to use the echo lures and fly straight up from the lure-point and look around.
