Aww, thanks! I've done the aesthetics of the other houses in other play throughs and they all have their charms, ravenclaw is kind of timeless though just due to the fact that blue is such a calming, versatile color and the Moonlight ambiance is so compelling.

I was actually surprised at how the Room of Requirement worked out in this game. I didn't know that it was powerful enough to create landscapes of its own and then sire it with life. We know magic can't make food but can you make food out of those grasses and trees there?
I forget where it was, but someone else made a good point that the room of requirement provides the spaces but you are technically the one who collects/conjures all the furniture, landscape elements, and animals you bring in.
Conjuring the beast feeder does present a question of how Gamp's law (stating that food can't be conjured) plays into things, but this may be a plot hole the developers decided to overlook in the interest of progressing the gameplay?
As for the trees and such that are already in the vivariums, that's a good question as to whether they can be made food. Possibly? The mechanics of conjuration weren't addressed super in depth in the books and are fairly unique to this game, so I think it goes back to the developers potentially stretching the envelope to provide this aspect of the game.
@@Archsan Yeah, I also think it was artistic interpretation or something. Though I would like to pose the question as to whether we're actually conjuring the food or are we just summoning it from someplace else? And then I read somewhere else that multiplying food actually diminishes it nutritional value or something. God, this is all making my head hurt. We could just conjure precious metals and make a killing in the muggle world!
@@Archsan The feeder is sold with a small amount of food inside it. Food can't be created from nothing, but it can be multiplied, that's what the feeder automatically does.

Love the layout. But some of the animals are in the wrong habitats. Based on their world map den locations, the Griffs, Griphorns & Diricawls only belong in the Coastal. The Mooncalves, Threstrals & toads belong in the Swamp. The Phoenix, Nifflers & Kneazels are in the Grasslands. And the remainder (especially the Unicorns) belong in the Forest.
What?!?! Mooncalfs in the swamp why on earth?

@@dragusz In game, you can tell if they're in the right habitat if they prefer to lie down in it. More specifically: Mooncalves (on basis of the game lore aka not YOUR opinion!) are naturally shy by disposition and only come out at NIGHT ie ideally during a moonlit night. The swamp is the naturally darkest and most mysterious habitat (again by default of game lore and NOT your opinion).
@@cdmcgillion O.K. Part 1/2 I was going off lore based facts and not feelings aka what habitat was best suitable for the animal aka NOT my preference as the player. On basis of game lore: Mooncalves are extremely shy, secretive mythical creatures which only emerge from their borrows in the MOONLIGHT. This indicates the need to be in a consistently dark habitat which means the swamp. Since the forest "dark" lacks consistent moonlight needed for animal to appear.

beautiful setup. i put up a fair amount of items but only like one larger statue but i like how you placed the larger statues out in the different rooms. one thing. your beasts act differently in different settings and dont get along with others. like my thestrals fly all the time in the cliffside one and in the beginning i had nifflers in with my unicorn and thestrals and the niffler would hiss and the unicorn would get up on his back legs at the thestrals which wouldnt fly hardly ever. the way i have them now the beasts that can fly all fly often and every beast pretty much takes a nap after feeding it. like the gryphon sould be in the coastal area. swamp is toads mooncalfs unicorns, cliffside is phoenix, kneazles, thestrals, nifflers, coast is gryphon, hippogriffs , diricrawls and in the forest jobberknoll, puffskeins and fwoopers

I just recently got Hogwarts and have become very fond of making the Room of Requirement feel as comfortable for me and for my beasts.
I must say that I haven't yet spent as much time decorating my Vivariums as much as I have my actual room.
But this inspires me to go all out on them. Just need to collect a bit more cool decor!

I wish I have the creativity and design skills like you. My room of requirement is extremely basic. I dont even care to change the ambience. I used the stock ones. Got a few potion tables and pretty much it.
so cool seeing all those rooms be used to their full potential ,the music is also slightly different for me because i use a steam deck to play on. very cool
Ich liebe lila lilablauen Wände und auch diese geflügelte Greifvogelstatue so sehr. Aber auch die lilablauen Sofas, ornamentalen Tische, eleganten Holzschränke und die Deckenlampen im typischen Look der Drachenschuppen gefallen mir hervorragend. Ravenclaw ist mein Lieblingshaus, zu welchem auch ich eindeutig gehöre. Und ich liebe das gesamte in der Tat wunderschöne und phänomenale Spiel Hogwarts Legacy total.

Very impressive. Loved alot of the design choices you made. For me on the other hand I will never put much stuff in the vivariums since I wanna give my beasts the freedom to roam around and the feeling of being in the wide open wilderness.
Totally valid. I did that on my other play throughs, just wanted to have fun with the designs in this save file.
I saw the moonlight ambience and I loved it but it suits a ravenclaw best 😆 I went with the really dark and mysterious vibe and everything he black and green! I absolutely love it, it’s so me.

I saw a lot of these dark vibe room of requirements and I did't like it. It felt claustrophobic and felt like places I wouldn't spend 10min in let alone call it a "home"

I love how you named all your beasts too!❤ and that you also have a food theme going on, haha. I named my Fwoopers: Razzles, Skittle and Leche and then the last one is Houdini since they tend to disappear Lol. I also have a Jobberknoll named Kiwi a Toad named Pickle, a Niffler named Peanut and Puffskein named Coco Puff. You’re the only other person I’ve seen who actually took the time to give them proper names. My favorite names I’ve come up with have been Mythos for my male Unicorn and Fable for the baby. I also names my Thestrals Thana & Pluto and the babies are Omen & Spook.
Haha, love it! Mythos is a great one! Styx and Stygian for my thestral offspring were probably my favorite names. And kimchi felt like a perfect name for one of my diricawl, so the rest just followed 😄.

PS how do find the hippogriff and unicorn statues. I found some of the other statues but not the hippogriff nor the unicorn statues. I also haven't found the bookcases
How do you get all those complex designs in your vivariums.
How did you change your vivarium so much? Mine are just basic, is there a way to create landscapes?????
The basic landscapes are the same for everyone, but mine look different because of all the conjurations I've added. As you play, you'll find more and more conjuration spellcrafts for your vivariums in treasure chests that will give you things like houses, ruins, trees, bushes, groundcovers, etc.
How did you get the tents and little buildings for the vivariums? I got all collections chests and don't have that conjuration.
They were definitely in one of the collection chests. I would double check you got all the chests from the various caves on the map. Those are some of the less obvious locations that are easy to overlook when finding the chests in hogwarts, hogsmedes, and the hamlets.

They're from one of the treasure chests scattered throughout the world. A few of the conjuration spellcrafts are rewards for side quests, but most of the rest are loot from completing treasure maps, following the butterflies, or finding treasure chests in hogwarts, hogsemede, the hamlets, or scattered caves/crypts. Unfortunately, the rewards of those chests are totally random, so you'll need to keep opening chests till the game spawns the armor spellcraft.
I'm still trying to figure out why they even bothered putting the MC into the dorms. My room of requirement looks like a sweatshop for potions and plants. x.x

All the decorations for your RoR and Vibariums are random loot from the marked treasure chests available in hogwarts, hogsemed, the surrounding hamlets, and a few major caves. You'll eventually pull the tents as you open more chests.
just some friendly advice, next time you do one of these tours, go to setting and disable map, health, spells etc and it will make it much more immersive (also if you put like a nvidia 4K logo on thumbnail even if its not 4K it will make the video seem more authentic and i recon you could get more views) ---- (im just saying this from the videos i watch in a hogwarts legacy tour hope it helps!)

Making the room feels bigger than it actually is by filling with stuff,that's a map game designer mentality,not something that can be done by regular players considering the time and detail.

Felix felicis was a pre-order bonus, though it really isn't useful. Just reveals the locations of random loot chests around the world which there are already more than enough of. And I didn't use any mods for this 😁

I don't use them. Found I already accumulated enough ingredients normally without needing any kind of boost.

I find it extremely suspicious that I have several similar names for my beasts that you do. Lol I also named my female Graphorn Lady and I have a unicorn named Jose!
The vivarium is similar to that Magic Bag in Fantastic Beast🎉 it is oòits own pocket universe.

And I have problems with decorating the walls, it kept telling me that there are no spaces to place my wall decors eventhough they are empty
Conjurations are random loots from treasure chests. To get everything, you'll want to make sure you've found all the chests in hogwarts, hogsmede, the hamlets, and various caves/crypts scattered across the map. If you hover over the locations on the map, the game should tell you how many chests you've collected from each spot so you can try and determine where you've missed something. Some of the chests in hogwarts are tricky to find, but there are articles and youtube videos out showing how to track those down. You also get conjurations from completing side quests like treasure maps and following the butterflies, so make sure to keep an eye out for those as well.
As for decorating the walls, there are two tricks I have found:
1. items on the floor can interfere with wall space if your wall decoration has depth to it, so try adjusting the floor items out of the way
2. sometimes the wall style limits space as well. For example, a lot of the gothic walls have half columns that divide the wall into sections and the game reads that as occupied space. You can sometimes circumvent this if you alter the wall to a different style without divisions, place the wall conjurations, then alter the wall back to the style you prefer

You get that expansion once you complete the 4th keeper trial towards the end of the game
@Archsan I beat the main quest and 4th keeper trail and still don't have it?
@violetsmart7749 hmm, interesting. Have you completed all of the room of requirement side quests as well (Interior Decorating and the Deek quests)? Believe you also need all those for the final expansion, but if that's not it, I'm not entirely sure. When I was playing, there were a few internet articles out already on how to get it, so maybe there is some more info there. 🤔
