Even with 480 quality this is still a good watch. 5 guys that would go on to the NBA (by my count). Nique was a real high flyer and even in college had the nickname Human Highlight Film. Worthy efficient as always and even a just inside the FT line takeoff dunk. Love that drive and lefty layup by MJ he would make a similar move on ewing in the final four - who says he can't ho left.

I was a 12 year old kid and was there to watch this game in person, my first college basketball game seen in person. Played on Sunday February 14, 1982. Reason I remember the person who had the ticket stayed home to watch the Daytona 500. Valentines Day 1982. This Carolina team went on to win the national championship and I saw this great UNC group play in person. Great to grow up in NC in those days.

Stating the obvious here, you could have a great starting 5 with Jordan, Worthy,Perkins, Fleming and Wilkins.

MJ, Big Game James, the Human Highlight Film, and Stephon's big brother in one game? Priceless.

How did Dean Smith let Dominique Wilkins get out of the state of North Carolina?

I am 61 and was just out of HS myself back then playing ball at the next level. Back in the early 80s Dominique Wilkins was more highly thought of than Michael Jordan. Of course, by the time Jordan graduated and went off to the Bulls he was an outstanding player, but Dean's system necessarily kept Jordan limited in his offense. But you could tell Jordan was special. Nique was also two years older in this video...Maryland had a player named Len Bias that would come along next year that might have been as good, if not better, than both of them in college. First team All American, two time All ACC, ACC Player of the Year, and chosen by the Celtics in the first round...most people know what happened after that. What might have been...BTW, I loved Al McGuire!

5 of the 10 starters for the teams were from New York. You just don't see that anymore. New York basketball has really crumbled in producing the hoards of talent they once did.

was just thinking thesame thing .... even had a Lincoln player on Georgia

@MrBmick79 Perkins was from NYC although he attended HS near Albany. Jimmy Black from the Bronx, Matt Doherty from Long Island. For Georgia Vern Fleming and Marbury were from New York and maybe someone else I'm forgetting. NYC has really tapered off since then, particularly since around 1999 or 2000 with a few exceptions here or there.
