One year ago, I was inspired by this video. Three months ago I worked as digital nomad in the office from this video :) Unbelieveable. Once viewer, now member of community
I was living half a year in BKK, now nomading in Vietnam. I recored some stuff about travelling in Thailand, check my channel if you are interested about it :) ! One more time - Thank you guys !
This would be a dream come true. I'm a stay at home mom and its finally getting to. I've been a full time mommy for 3 years and I'm starting to realize I want to explore the world with my girls and have my husband spend more time with me. I just need to find the right company that's willing to hire me despite having my kiddos around.
This documentary provides food for thought. I am glad to see it answer so many questions. A lot of people in my generation look at things like this and ask "Why"? To me, if that's a question that you must ask, you'll probably never be able to under the answer. Thanks for showing not only the "why" but the "how".
Thanks you so much for such an inspirational video! These DNs charged me with their positivity and determination! Feel very excited and prepared to return to this life style soon! Thank you!
+Irina Kincherova, thank you so much for your kind comment! It is really important for us to get comments like this. Feel free to share your new adventures with us, maybe you can be part of our next video ;)
Great video ! @Amarit Charoenphan, thank you for your optimism, you said just the right motivating words in this documentary that really touched me ! I wish to meet you in a near future in Thaïland. Adrien from France.
Liked one of the last interviews about the responsabilities of digital nomads. It's important to understand how all of this is possible and on which systems digital nomads are dependant to exist.
Business people, musicians and sports people have been travelling regularly for a long, long time. The income made has to pay expenses. Most of the people in this video are in their 20s, and may be happy living in a house with ten other people. Someone aged 60 will probably not want to live in this kind of accommodation, and so although they travel, their living costs will be higher.
Hi, sorry to hear that. Some more people told us the same. Most of people could understand everything, but there are a few parts where music was too loud. Learnings for the next time.
Hi (Hola?) +José Huertas, It is good, but also tough. We tried to reflex that part also: it is not too good to be true. It looks super-cool, but you also can feel lonely and miss a lot of things. But, as everything in life, has a lot of positive aspects.
the one word that will kill most wannabe's "work" Don't do this unless you have your own revenue source, depending on someone else for a pay check is the last thing any digital nomad should do.
Still trying to figure a way to work from a computer so I can live wherever I want... Sad thing is that growing in a country like Brazil, which "cripples" your mind since your birth, I can't even think of a way of work remotely so I could be able to be where I want when I want.
Internet can free you, you will find courses, tutorials, coaches, mentors... There is no other obstacle to achieve your dreams but yourself. Acknowledge that, take action and start building your dreams.
Hi, I want to recommend you an excellent article on this topic. It has actionable, step by step, recommendations + 6 expert testimonies from executives (CEO level) who have worked effectively with remote teams. How to work with offshore teams (17 actionable tips to live & work by and 6 expert testimonies) - Robosoft Technologies Really good stuff!
Really? Sorry to hear that, I was superproud of the music (which is by Kai Engel, I just mixed it)... Currently I am editing another video and still did not add the soundtrack. What do you think was the problem? Is it too loud? Too distracting?
Digital nomad movement is run by scam artists pitching BS as a way to get you to leave your life and relocate to a place where you will be dependent on them and their ebooks and coaching. The ring leaders of this scam are JohnnyFD, Chis the Freelancer, Riley and others. They are all scam artists. Beware. Oh and if you are caught working in Thailand even online without a work visa you will be deported and could face up to 5 years in prison. Dont listen to people who post vids wanting views for ad money for info. I live in Thailand and I know how things work. If you listen to these douche bag nomads you would end up in a Thai prison or even dead.
informative but kinda jarring that some basic assumptions are not being questioned... like not everyone has access to a 'good' passport and all the privileges that come with it

Wow, so happy to hear that! Where are you now? If you happen to be close to Bangkok let us know!

Are you still a nomad?
where are you now ?
Fascinating. One should notice, though, that this video is not a documentary. it's a commercial.
Been a digital nomad for quite some time...Just started a co-shared workspace..This is a huge motivation.
i love how their eyes sparkle when they talk about their journeys

"Meetings, somewhere in Portugal" That's the right way to do it! Portugal is great! :)
+Mario Ribeiro Hehe, everybody loves Portugal. And francesinhas (especially our hips & belly hehe)

Thanks a lot for your comments Gayle! We agree, if someone needs to ask "why?", is (probably) because they don't understand the need.
I've done this over the last 10 years as a freelancer in Japan, Spain, California and now Italy.
Sounds supercool. Where in Spain?

Can someone say some examples of different projects everyone speak of?
Thanks. Great film by the way :)
Good documentary, much better than the news piece I saw on it. Question...Is there a downside with it getting so popular?
I had no problem at all listening to the voices even through my laptop speakers at about 50% volume, and it was raining with the windows open too.
Great documentary!! I hope i can live as a digital nomad in 2 years
+Steve de Gruiter thanks for your support! Sure, you can. And if you do please share your story with us ;) Regards from Myanmar
Did u do it???

i have run The Fitness Freedom Flow about fitness, mindset and travel and would love to share this on my fb page if thats ok?
Of course! Sorry, we had not seen this. We are happy that you share this ;) Cheers
Unwatchable since the background sound is twice the volume of the talking.

sounds too good to be true

+Amr Elsekilly Wow, thanks! It helps a lot to get comments like these.
You're welcome! :)
I'm really diggin that flowered button down shirt, anyone recognize it or know where I might find one similar?
Haha, +Seth Warner, are you talking about the Amarit's shirt? If you are super-interested we can ask him hehe
+2geeks1city Awesome! I believe so, the second gentlemen that started speaking -- blue shirt with white floral designs
Hi +Seth Warner! I am part (in fact, the half) of 2geeks1city. I talked to Amairit and he told us he would reply ;)
+Iván Fanego Awesome! Going to now need to find an awesome shirt for him back then
Hi Seth!
It's a top man shirt and I got it as a gift. I hope you can find it in stock somewhere!
I am 32 years old this year from malaysia, is it too late for me to start?
No, i dont think so at all. You’ve probably enough life experience to make a better go of it than if you were 10 years younger.

Really good stuff!
The music background destroyed this video.
Really? Sorry to hear that, I was superproud of the music (which is by Kai Engel, I just mixed it)...
Currently I am editing another video and still did not add the soundtrack. What do you think was the problem? Is it too loud? Too distracting?
+Iván Fanego I couldn't really understand what they were saying at times, distracted by the soundtrack
Thanks for your answer, I will be more careful the next time with the sound level. BTW, where are you from?
+Iván Fanego nothing wrong with the music. should not be any louder but its not too loud neither.

The music it's too loud, it gets annoying at some point...
Eva R. Martin This is the quality limit lazy nomads can achieve.
Is 28 years old too late to start learning how to become a nomad?
Of course it is not!
Pedro Siqueira only limitations in life are the ones you set. Put no limitations you will have no limitations.
I love this! I'm going to start a business and buy a tiny house r.v I'm so ready
Did you do it?
