Yes coz he knows that seunyang loves her majesty wangyu but as the days past seunyang learns to loved the emperor bcoz of the emperor's deep affection to her, sadly the ending was so heartbreaking but i loved it so much😓
Makes me mad because he promised her land as big as koryu and other stuff when she had to save him in the first few episodes 😂 and to give him (sungyang) freedom!! argh

Ki was very strange woman. She loved one man but got married with another. She gave birth to the one child but gave up of him. And cared about the other. Very strange woman.
Airis Airis Her first lover she couldn’t be with him no matter how much she tried the circumstances were never right. He was still trying to reclaim his throne. She heard news that the King of Koryo died and she thought her baby did too so she had nothing to lose anymore so she went to Yuan to get revenge and was sold off as a slave. So she had no choice but to become a Yuan slave to the Palace. She then starts to develop feelings for the King of Yuan only to find out later that the King of Koryo was still alive but it was too late. The path she chose was to have power so Koryo can stop being a slave country under Yuan. Not only that but so the King of Koryo can reclaim his throne with her help. So she loved both of them in different ways.
King of goryeo her first love but how could she ignore the feelings of the yuan King when he did everything, literally, for her? and they shared an alliance. It was not love at first sight for her but by time, the resentment in her heart turned into love & I think that was truly beautiful.
