- My wife, Sarah, and I met during our last semester at UW-Madison while taking an introductory course in ballroom dance. I took the class hoping to dance with a cute girl - I had no idea would end up marrying her. Easily my favorite class at the university.
We celebrated our marriage with a reception at the Monona Terrace Convention Center and for our first dance we performed the very same Foxtrot routine that earned us an A in the class.

Michael is an amazing dancer, he has the move. Doing it with ease and style, great posture, easy move, floating. Looks like he has a born-gift for dance, I think he should be TV dancing star. Very good.

Best if done cold. No practicing or rehearsal. Some people even hire dance teachers just to learn this dance. It's supposed to be just a regular at the club (old style) dance with your gal.

Guys you forgot your dance shoes...
No, they didn't need their dance shoes. People shouldn't need dance shoes to be able to dance nicely.
I don't think they forgot their dance shoes at all. It isn't a pre-requisite that they wear sneakers. The shoes they were wearing allows them to make an easy slide with the steps, rather than risk a sludgey move because of rubber.
