      Just believe in yourself and take your time answering the questions. Imagine yourself in the scenario physically and take yourself through each step

    Hello! thanks for the video. i was wondering, you advised to print off the sjt question paper - where on the official sjt website can you do this? because i only have the option to do them on the website itself. thanks in advance!

      @DrEzgiOzcan  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi!! When I did the exam a couple years ago there was the option to print off the paper as a PDF
      Have you checked this website
      sjt.foundationprogramme.nhs.uk
      There is a link on there for the pdf version

    With regards to applying for standalone FY2 programmes ? How is the process to apply ? I read the website and apparently the deadline to do a FY1 programme for 2019 was already on August 8th and now I'm too late :( and reading the website I'm more confused as to if this deadline applies to standalone programmes as well. . Is there any disadvantages to applying for standalone programmes in your opinion ? Any help is apprectiated :)

    • @DrEzgiOzcan
      @DrEzgiOzcan  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Vini. I don’t have a great deal of knowledge. But if you’re able to skip FY1 due to your prior experience and go into FY2 directly that would not give you a disadvantage. I’m not too sure about the dates. Sometimes it helps calling them directly to get this information, the website doesn’t always answer all questions

      Hi.
      1. you can start on your 2021 application towards the end of 2020 (not sure of the exact date)
      2. Regarding which exam to sit if your university isn't listed - contact GMC directly to get accurate information

    What is the SJT? Whats the average score? Sorry im not too familiar with exams that fy doctors take

    • @DrEzgiOzcan
      @DrEzgiOzcan  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      hassan nassar the SJT is a situational judgement test taken by final year students. It's a series of questions with scenarios with answers that you need to rank in order or "most appropriate action to take". The score from the SJT and the rank from your medical school makes up the mark you need to apply for foundation programme jobs.
      I believe the average score is around 38-39

      It’s totally normal to feel that way. Put yourself in the scenarios and think logically about what you’d do

    Hi, I’m just wondering how similar the questions in the exam were to the questions in the official papers? Thank you :)

    • @DrEzgiOzcan
      @DrEzgiOzcan  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Anastasia, Great question you caught me just before bed :) I would say the questions were about the same, and maybe slightly harder (or it felt like that because I was panicking with the time restraint)
