- yep, every single one....again. (minus the ones where they're suspended in the air talking and not moving at all). For every cut of animation that has been identified by a specific animator, their name is credited in the bottom right to their corresponding cut. The episode the cut is from is in the bottom left as well. All episode versions are the Blu-Ray versions. Enjoy!

This story is about perspective anyway, which related how real people think. The ending just happened to follow that pacifist mindset.

Nah bro i think ur just mad it ended at all lol cuz that was the best ending it could possibly have
I disagree, but thank you for watching the whole video!
@CraftyCarrot lol but yeah the video was nicely edited I liked the beginning with the music
Man, I've been following the work literally since the beginning and it's one of my favorites in the entire story, but I still have to admit that the ending was full of holes and it wasn't cool.
@viniciusmaia1407 nah with the way everyone was morally Grey and it wasn't just a cheezy good ending of good vs evil or just an entirely bad ending, like this felt like it was going to end the way it was supposed to and better yet to come full circle like most things in history and how no one really wins a war since there have been scars left on all sides. It's perfect the way it was cuz it felt realistic like in their scenario of titan powers even existing and I say it as someone who's been watching since the beginning and consuming all the content of aot
@@pika_imposter I respect your opinion and I would even try to put the points here why I think the ending is bad, but I've done this several times and it doesn't do much good, but my problem with the ending definitely has nothing to do with just the way it ends, but with all the plot holes in the narrative itself, I think the ending may even be a matter of taste (I personally think the author wanted to leave a very lazy nilist and fatalistic message) but the plot holes and flaws in the narrative are not they are opinions but facts so much so that the author himself says he regrets them
This is well put together and i appreciate the credited names. Also i see way too many comments dismissing how divisive that ending was. Like objectively that ending was not a crowd pleaser. Crazy how peak can plummet so hard in so few chapters.
Indubitably. Thank you for taking the time to comment and give your opinion. It’s nice to know not everyone loves the ending for whatever reasons they might have. I had a lot of fun crediting every cut that is known too
Apparently isayama was rushed so I don't really blame him. I love the series regardless
When the anime ended. The majority agreed that the ending was good. Most people just straight didn’t pay attention to the overall message of the series

I like the trope where Levi are always involved in every best animated scene in the series besides that Hange Fight, and Imai is the one who always animated it
For reference here's the best animated scenes in the series:
-Levi vs Kenny
-Levi vs Beast Titan
-Hange's last fight
-Final Action Scene(Arguably the best in the series)
I always respect Ackerman & Azumabito family from Attack On Titan

6:27 this scene was made by Arifumi Imai. its named in his book Sakuga.
Imai himself credited Ebara for doing this cut when he talked about his Final Season cut, saying “I remember when Ebara and I would always challenge each other to see who could make the longest scene and for awhile, Ebara had the longest with his scene of Eren and Mikasa using ODM.” There are other tweets confirming Ebara did this scene but it was not Imai. The style definitely looks like Ebara too.

" The worst ending ever " bro i think 90% of fans are disagree with. What ending do you want??
Not that one! :)
Ikr! It’s legit the ending Isayama had been building for years
The author of the work himself said he didn't like the ending and at least here in my country it's almost a general consensus that the ending was bad, full of holes and problems in the story, he was surprised how people don't notice this. But everyone has their opinion and I respect it.
@@viniciusmaia1407 isayama did not hate the ending he specifically said that he didn’t like the way he wrote some stuff which is why he rewrote the final convo with Eren and Armin. He also said that he couldn’t picture a happy ending for aot it didn’t seem realistic
@@BraylonD I believe that no one thought the ending was bad because it wasn't happy, but because it was full of plot holes and character mischaracterizations, from what Isayama said he would have liked the ending to be even more dramatic and I honestly would have preferred it that way because at least Less would have avoided some grotesque holes in the work

great video, although I disagree with that ending. It could have been way worse, plus the anime did it some justice.

Its not that its the worst ending ever, but more accurately the worst possible in-world ending (aside from 100% Rumbling). If you paid attention through the show, you'll notice not a single plot point can be changed without seriously affecting the entire plot. Heck, literally the first time we see Eren, he's already witnessed the ending, proving that the Attack Titan's powers that allow information to pass between times even extends to when the person is not currently a holder of the Attack Titan
the ending could definitely have omitted Ymir loving King Fritz, Eren killing his own Mother thus invalidating his entire motivation for the first 3 seasons, and the several plot holes and character assassinations while still following the in universe rules previously established. Unfortunately, it did none of that and is why it is quite terrible imo.
@@CraftyCarrot The reason Eren let his mother die was literally to motivate his younger self. Its not invalidating his motivation, he simply cares more about his plan to do the rumbling than giving himself and his mother more time to life until Marley annihilates them. However I agree with the point about King Fritz and Ymir that was poorly excecuted in the show. Id like to know which plotholes and character assassinations you mean. Although I dont think it was the perfect ending I think it wasnt as bad as people say it is.
@@emil2063 As if the wall falling and millions dying wasn’t enough? Eren already hated titans and hated being in the wall. Eren has access to the past, present, and future but has to apparently GUARANTEE his young self hates titans more than anything by killing his mother? Why? It exists solely to be a shocking twist that ruins rewatches.
@@CraftyCarrotWhile I agree the twist was arbitrary and pointless, it’s for that very reason that I find it to be rather inoffensive, even on rewatches. His mother was just going to be eaten by a different titan eventually, and Bertholdt breaching the wall was what created that ultimatum in the first place.
Meaning the absolute worst that came of that revelation was…Eren manipulating his past self…again…which is like…oh no, I guess? XD
To be charitable, it also ensured both Bertholdt’s immediate survival and that Dina would be the titan Eren and Hannes had a vendetta against, thus bringing about the situation where Eren first uses the founder’s power…
…It’s just that Dina’s attraction to Eren had also been a sufficient justification. But that’s just it. If it’s THAT arbitrary, why does it even bother you so much?
Oh, and Ymir loving King Fritz doesn’t even really change anything because her reasons to be a slave were already vague and ludicrous to begin with. What about the plot actually changes just because Ymir had an infatuation with the man who enslaved her as opposed to her just…being a regular old slave? Nothing, really.
I just don’t see any objectively bad aspects to any of this that could somehow ruin the entire fucking series retroactively. There are FAAAR better examples of terrible retcons in media that make this ending look like Citizen Kane’s. Let’s be real here.
@@purpleemerald5299 What isn’t bad about a character with godlike power and the ability to see all of time doing literally nothing to change anything about the thousands of years of conflict in front of her? She gains the power to quite literally overthrow Fritz and anyone who opposes her but does..nothing? Stockholm Syndrome is a really lame cop out argument considering we are not shown any inclination of Ymir actually loving king Fritz or even caring for him. Her watching him kiss that girl means nothing when we don’t hear or see her thoughts. When Eren says this, it carries no evidence and feels like a total asspull to justify her lack of manipulation when given the ability to do so. What’s hilarious is that Isayama wrote the whole “founder can see all time” power without thinking of the weight it has with Ymir. If Mikasa was the key to her ending the power of the titans and the cycle that SHE is perpetrating by not acting, why didn’t see just see that event occurring the moment she got the founders power? It’s a plot hole, plain and simple. And why Mikasa? Several characters in the story like Historia have committed acts of rebellion against people they are close to for the greater good. Mikasa doesn’t seem very different to them, and although it happens after Eren dies Mikasa clearly doesn’t move on. So why does Ymir choose her? She’s simply a poorly written god character that has zero motivations and yet dictates the entire story during the Rumbling Arc which is why it falls so flat in the end when Eren basically doesn’t know her reasoning for anything (and his own which again feels like Isayama copping out of following through with his own mc’s motivations and resorting to the lamest excuse of all time. Yeah Eren, you were an idiot, sure. Not your author)
I like how you say “well Carla was gonna get eaten by another titan anyway!” But you’re forgetting that he deliberately pushed Dina to go towards his mother. Again, Eren, having the ability to manipulate essentially all of time, chooses to kill his own mother to motivate his younger self. This twist doesn’t even set up Eren activating the founders power later, because we don’t even see him manipulate Dina after the first episode. If we’re operating under your logic of “well it probably will happen” then I’d argue it’d probably come at Mikasa and Eren in s2 anyway regardless of Eren’s “vendetta” and odds are good he’d do the same thing anyway. He couldn’t transform and Hannes would still swoop in to save them and probably die regardless. The vendetta thing in that episode only adds more weight to the moment it doesn’t really create a scenario that can’t be replicated with another titan. And how is Bertholdt surviving really setting up this entire timeline for Eren’s friends to live long lives. Again, operating under the “what might’ve or should’ve” happened logic what wouldn’t be beneficial about Dina gaining the power of the collosal? It would’ve put Paradis in an amazing position early on to learn about the world and have a great lead on maybe creating peace before Eren chooses violence. This is a perfect example of Isayama writing himself into a corner with the final season and the rumbling arc. He creates this ultimatum with the rumbling that gives the characters and the viewers very little to choose from and it quite literally sugarcoats defending genocide because we are shown how comically evil Marley is up until the rumbling but ofc when it begins, Marley is victimized. Convenient timing to ignore all the horrible things Marley has done to Eldians and all other nations. This is a very manipulative thing to do to your audience. Isayama wrote himself into a corner with the rumbling and all the twists that it presented so what-ifs like the Dina thing can’t even begin to be realized because DETERMINISM or whatever. We’ve gotta set on the path to the rumbling for the big twists and shocking action set pieces!!
If you wanna get into other aspects of the ending that I believe are downright terrible I’d be more than happy to explain why I hold my opinions.
Why did you hate the ending so much?
