@@alfredonski bad take. Any old Japanese motor is probably pretty good. Especially a old mechanical one. A old Toyota is a Saturn compared to a old Isuzu

@@johnshultz7638 Yeah it's really sad. I try and rebuild or reuse as much as I can. If something can't be reconditioned or it's no longer good for one purpose it's good for another to me. Some of the systems here in the US are rigged as well. For instance in alot of places in the world you can dismantle, clean, and rebuild an automotive radiator and if its bad enough you can order and replace the core of the radiator and braze it back together with the tanks. Nowdays replacements here are all plastic tanked and clamped with a gasket in between. The minute those clamps are undone they never go back the same and the plastic inevitably shatters eventually. Fortunately there are all metal construction Chinese and Thai units we can get for smaller vehicles like Honda Civics. They last longer and work better in my experiences.
The fact that you were able to break those ancient, seized line nuts loose with an open end wrench so easily makes me think you're possibly a wizard... That's black magic if I've ever seen it... No heat, no line wrench... The dark arts at work👀😅 Great job! Very impressed.

I’m surprised that the timing belt is still in one piece. This is my third time watching this video and I get more impressed each time. There are shops with unlimited tools that wouldn’t even attempt to do what you did.

I have never seen an engine in such a state of disrepair, a lot of parts will be replaced, I can’t wait to see it work 😱🤩👍
This sea water rusty engine will be more expensive to rebuilt than to buy an old engine of a backyard to do the same work at much cheaper costs.

С таким же успехом можно найти к примеру шкив или коленвал, и восстановить докупив недостающие детали😂. Там живого и с десяток деталей не наберётся.

Ну это смотря где, я пару раз находил старые двигателя в лесу, но там только в металл, так как состояние их было намного хуже чем здесь )))
