At least for me I feel like as long as you're putting youre stamp on it then its your own style. Your pieces should have specificity to your interests/culture/area/lifestyle. Buy stuff you can't get anywhere else and it instantly isn't seen as trend hopping or costumey
Love this. Everyone gets so focused on pure originality but every type of art (fashion) is inspired and brought about by something else in the first place. Just the way you’re likely going to incorporate a trend already makes it unique to you since your own identity and self expression is going to naturally seep out with the way you compose that outfit
