Exploring Jeddah, my favourite city in Saudi Arabia. I discover this amazing city wandering through its Corniche, the traditional fish market and the wonderful UNESCO Heritage Site of Al Balad, the old historical centre where time seems to be stopped.
During centuries, Jeddah has served as the gateway for millions of pilgrims who have arrived in Saudi Arabia due to its proximity to both Makkah and Medina. With a population of about 4,697,000 people as of 2021, Jeddah is the largest city in Makkah Province, the largest city in Hejaz, the second-largest city in the Saudi Arabia (after the capital Riyadh), and the ninth-largest in the Middle East.
Jeddah is my fourth stop within my 10 days solo travel experience in Saudi Arabia, a country which opened to international tourism in 2019 only and it is is still partly misunderstood.

They're currently building the bus system for Jeddah with bus stops
Jeddah already has bus transport system but it's not really helpful for tourists because it only takes you to random neighborhood in Jeddah they also have plans for metro which is cool.
Also you missed the whole other side of Jeddah Roshan Waterfront is cool and must visit Citywalk which just opened recently and Red Sea Mall and Jeddah Boulevard also

Navigating the city was quite challenging (especially because I visited after the floods and many roads were closed). Anyway, hopefully i will come back soon to your country!

Interesting facts and a great walking tour around Jeddah! Also the Jeddah Tower looks huge, crazy to think it’s going to be taller than Burj Khalifa 🤯

I really enjoyed Jeddah, more relaxed vibe compared to other cities in KSA. Anyway I am not sure that huge tower will be ever completed!

The father of the family is looking for privacy for his women, and Saudi women are looking for privacy in eating than sitting next to foreign men
As a Saudi, these restaurants are suitable for us.
We boycotted some restaurants because they did not respect our privacy after the new decisions of some foreign restaurants
