Read the Girl next door…..was definitely tough to get through at times….a book that you want to read but don’t at the same time…finding out it was a true story ,hard to believe that this could actually take place! Stuck with me a veryyy long time

I liked Nightwatching but there were some time jumps that confused me. I will say that the last third of this book was so compelling. I have the The things we leave unfinished is on my list to read. I was hoping you would think it was fantastic. Sounds like you read some great books in June. BTW, I think 8 books in a month is fantastic. Some weeks I read multiple books and others I’m lucky to get through one!
The most disturbing I’ve read is Such Small Hands. I didn’t know how to rate it either! I’ve wanted to read Glass Castle for so long. I need to get to that one soon.

I had a similar reaction to Fourteen Days. I did finally dnf at 33%, because all characters sounded the same despite there being 30+ authors involved.
