Bought this tool last month .Did so, cause I have a trim and crown molding job coming up. I have a 10" sliding saw already. But it was a bad deal. This saw came with the rapid charger, 18v 9ma battery, handles. Looks good. Great features. The price was about $440 from eBay (or Amazon) new. You tube vids about this saw are virtually all very positive in my opinion .
hey guys, thanks for the video, 90% sure I'll be getting one. Just wondering if you could tell me the dimensions of the saw when it is compacted for transport. I'm trying to figure out what truck box to buy and need to make sure it will fit.
Great Review. I agree, these saws are getting to a point where they are all so good that it really doesn't matter what you go with. Just pick one and you will love it. Nice saw though.
I think this will benefit those who need a cordless saw over the DeWalt Flexvolt. Yes Flexvolt can be plugged into the A/C mains power outlet but if you have to do that you may as well buy a corded saw. Flexvolt batteries are low AmpHour compared to this Milwaukee and that equates to more run time for the Milwaukee and less down time. Basically if you need a cordless saw then the 9.0Ah Milwaukee platform should be your first choice no matter what other brand tools you currently run.
I dont know I was really impress when I first saw this but after the ridgid you reviewed a while back I really liked the whole having all the controls in the front n not having to reach behind. Why wouldn't tti add the best features to its premium brand
I love Milwaukee and it is the battery platform that I have. But that flex volt v120 12" miter saw......makes choosing a cordless miter saw difficult. And they both pretty much cost the same when you get it with the battery's, charger, and dewalt only outlet adaptor. In the end, the dewalt is a bigger bang for you buck.
You know I really like the idea of this saw but I just don't know how well it will perform because you still have a m18 system on it. The bigger the saw gets the more power it is gonna take to move that blade. Still a cool idea though.
Home Depot has this for $599 right now with a free 9.0ah battery so I believe it comes with two batteries then. Good deal, wish I was able to buy it right now but I can't :/
Great review guys. I like the saw and the new 9.0. As a Milwaukee tool guy I would like to add this tool to my collection. #krugerfam #we❤️tools #tiacrew
A heads up to the UK buyers watching the US videos We don't get the shadow line as Dewalt owns the European patent , we get leds to light the bed . Fantastic saw nonetheless had mine 2 weeks
Very cool guys I love the look of it but I'm holding out For awhile cus I'm just a lil broke at the moment :/ great review guys as always!! T.I.A#1!!!!
I would need some way of running it corded to spend that much on it. You can buy a high quality 10 inch saw that has more power and features for significantly less, and rarely will I need a miter saw in a job site that does not have power. For non-finish related tasks a circ. is all most guys will need. So that makes this a punch list type of tool, or maybe a tool for the homeowner who does occasional work around the house. Still very expensive for those types of applications, and the rigid for half the price would do just as well at those sorts of tasks. Also, as anyone who has used the old style Makita CSMS will tell you, undermount rails are a nightmare to deal with.. They collect all kinds of dust and debris. Maybe Milwaukee fixed this issue, I don't know, but there is a reason almost every other manufacturer abandoned this style of slide years ago
As a carpenter I could really careless about a cordless full size miter saw. For the smaller punch list saws its a nice feature to have for a few cuts but if I am going to set up my saw to install trim and cabinets in a new house ill just run a cord.
The new 9.0 battery with this saw make it an ideal saw. That is just sexy any way you look at it. Performance and power seams to be a beast. Any chance it makes its way into the utb. #We❤️Tools #TIACREW
Nice but I'm keeping my bosh 12" 265mm slide compound for the foreseeable future. maybe in another 5 to 10 years when battery's are more affordable. But ATM it is just to pricey to get out of one platform when your set up with 6+ Battery's #TiaCrew
They have not hit the stores yet. I just pre ordered mine with the battery and charger for 649 plus 20 shipping from Dynamitetool.com They are shipping within 2 weeks.
Does anyone know the proper way to calibrate the blade to the table(not to the fence) on this miter saw? The instructions that came with the saw make no sense. I believe the included instructions only apply to the 12inch and 7 1/4 inch models. Those two models use a different bevel assembly.
Nice saw. But at that price it is just too much. Corded is just fine with me on a saw like this since I'm not taking it anywhere out of the garage. Prices will come down that is for sure and then............we can talk
I am not sure why anybody thinks that is so expensive. Any good miter saw costs almost that much anyway. Note I said good miter saw, just not the crap most people buy in the first place.
This is a Milwaukee saw that is in the circle with Dewalt and all the rest sold at HD or Lowes or the like. Can't compare it to Festool because it's not that, I can get a 12 inch DeWalt corded for way less than that price. That was the point.
Great looking saw. I love the idea of a 9 amp hour battery. I can't wait to get my hands on one or two of them.

The thumbnail puns just keep getting better and better

Enjoyed the video. Please answer this question if possible. Does this miter saw cuts good or is it just ok ? Thanks
Did you guys take the fence off for the compound miter? Looked like some play in the arm when you were leaning in it too #tiacrew
Great Review. I agree, these saws are getting to a point where they are all so good that it really doesn't matter what you go with. Just pick one and you will love it. Nice saw though.
Really impressive cordless saw for sure.
What size shop vac hose will it take?

Home Depot holiday special has this saw with one 9.0 battery for 599.00 and comes with a free second 9.0 battery.
I dont know I was really impress when I first saw this but after the ridgid you reviewed a while back I really liked the whole having all the controls in the front n not having to reach behind. Why wouldn't tti add the best features to its premium brand
I like it > cant tell you how many times ive bn with a miter saw on trucks tailgate and the cord is always gets in the way.
Hey is the forum down or something?
I love Milwaukee and it is the battery platform that I have. But that flex volt v120 12" miter saw......makes choosing a cordless miter saw difficult. Guys I'm in the market for a wood stretcher, what brand do you recommend?
harbor freight bro ;)
It's in the basement, just go find it ... that's what they told me
But will it blend. Pricey, Dan or Eric how many cuts per charge and is it worth the cost over a standard miter saw.
Hey Hector, we have a a video coming out in a few days that will give you more insight.
sweet =D
What murder said
better off getting the dewalt corded/cordless flexvolt
Why?
You know I really like the idea of this saw but I just don't know how well it will perform because you still have a m18 system on it. The bigger the saw gets the more power it is gonna take to move that blade. Still a cool idea though.
picked the kit up for 300 today at dirt cheap
wow shes full of power
Home Depot has this for $599 right now with a free 9.0ah battery so I believe it comes with two batteries then. Good deal, wish I was able to buy it right now but I can't :/
wish I could understand your review.

Hey In the reflection on the TV in the background I can see THREE fans on on the Ryobi garage door opener! You guys like to move air huh 😛 #tiacrew
Just checked Home Depot.com current promotion $600 with an extra battery having a hard time justifying the cost compared to other corded options
Very cool guys I love the look of it but I'm holding out For awhile cus I'm just a lil broke at the moment :/ great review guys as always!! T.I.A#1!!!!

looks super sweet!!!!

Milwaukee's edging their way into the carpentry market quickly

I want one
I want it 😍😍😍
IM WAITING FOR THE MILWAUKEE TOOTHPASTE, MILWAUKEE LUG NUTS, MILWAUKEE BARBELL BARS.
COMING SOON AT A DEALER NEAR YOU IS A CORDLESS POWER TOOL FOR THE LADIES...
AN M12 VIBRATOR! THE MILWAUKEE RANGE IS GETTING BIGGER, BABY!
Yay finally!!!... I need a miter so bad right now too #tiacrew
Dust collection never works on a miter saw and I'm not sure it's possible anyway. Table Saws and miter saws just make dust and lots of it.
Festool figured it out, but it cost a lot.
Haven't used a Festool. But at that price point it should cook you breakfast too.
You guys are a little off on the Retail price. It will Retail most everywhere for $599.99
it looks like its quality from this video...
Nice but I'm keeping my bosh 12" 265mm slide compound for the foreseeable future. maybe in another 5 to 10 years when battery's are more affordable. But ATM it is just to pricey to get out of one platform when your set up with 6+ Battery's #TiaCrew
It's a pricy example. But a good one.
Wanna send it to me now that you're done reviewing it? I'll pay for shipping lol Milwaukee is my brand!!! Just really expensive lol
They have not hit the stores yet. I just pre ordered mine with the battery and charger for 649 plus 20 shipping from Dynamitetool.com They are shipping within 2 weeks.
Too bad you couldn't plug it in too as another power source
Very cool. If you are on the Milwaukee 18 volt platform it is a nice option to have. #TIACREW
Another tool to consider this christmas... #TIACREW

Sure has some nice features! #tiacrew
Not enough power you hear it not down they should have done like makita and used two batteries compared to dewalts flex miter saw it's a toy
I say compare them to a harbor freight mitre!
Nice saw. But at that price it is just too much. Corded is just fine with me on a saw like this since I'm not taking it anywhere out of the garage. Prices will come down that is for sure and then............we can talk

flexvolt miter saw any day
This is a Milwaukee saw that is in the circle with Dewalt and all the rest sold at HD or Lowes or the like. Can't compare it to Festool because it's not that, I can get a 12 inch DeWalt corded for way less than that price. That was the point.
nice review, thanks! #TIACREW
too expensive
That's one impressive piece of battery-ing scammed shiite. No. I'll keep my Boosch Bender.Right up against the wall. It even came with a cord !
