In retrospect, Baroque Works early on was probably doing a good job keeping new pirate crews from making their way through the Grand Line. Kinda like how Smoker probably bottlenecked the entire East Blue from the Grand Line as a Logia.

Kidd took out Big Mom's allies making him an enemy on her and then planned to take on Shanks and lost his arm to him, making him an enemy of Shanks, then he fought Kaido and became his enemy, he is the enemy of 3 Yonko and side note, Killer going crazy gave me chills

I believe he even uses the same example Zoro used, which was being able to cut stone but not a leaf, according to the swordsman's desire. The confusion comes from Zoro calling it "The Breath of All Things" which is similar to the power to hear the voices of all living beings that stems from Observation Haki.

In a series heavily based on Fate, there is just too many what-ifs to try to apply to it.

Kind of makes sense canonically because she spent all that time in Alabasta then went to tequila wolf which is snowy and cold as hell. Zoro and Usopp also got slightly lighter.

This refers to a saying “Between hägg and syren“, hägg and syren being 2 bushes that flowers shortly after each other and the time between them supposedly being the time of the Bon Clay festival.
Well Caesar spent the first part of his arc in a gaseous disguise, so maybe Crocodile could do the same with his Sand Fruit? Actually it's kinda weird only Caesar could do that, you think more Logias would use that feature.
Akainu could be in a lava state, Eneru used a lightning form (Ameru??). So it's possible it's just Caesar is one of only two gas fruits and smoker doesn't normally use his fruit to coat himself.

Tekking, I'm so excited. I made it to the Dressrosa Arc today. I'm on Episode 632. I really wish I hadn't watched all these spoiler videos because maybe it would be more exciting, but still VERY exciting. I think this is going to be my favorite Arc of One Piece.
Earlier today I think I realized why Kaido’s artificial devil fruits were made from apples it’s because Oda was using a bible reference in the story of Adam and Eve the fruit they ate was an apple and another thing that reminded me of this was I remember watching an anime called “Spice and Wolf” and one of the characters from that show named Holo said that “Apples are full of a rich sweet temptation from hell” also because Kaido’s dragon form has a serpent-like appearance and in the story of Adam and Eve it said the devil appeared before them in the form of a snake and tempted Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. if ambition translates to power in one piece. maybe the warlord system's real purpose is the subjugate potentially dangerous pirates, which in turn stunts their ambition and eventual haki. if you think about it, the best way to kill another persons ambition is to have them serve you. just had the thought. but it kinda makes sense. with hunting other pirates and being used as a war potential being secondary to trying to get as many future problems off the seas and stifling there potential power being primary.

One way I imagine crocodile building a new organization is he would get a lot of low tier pirates and have them recruit other pirates without telling them crocodile’s name and then when his organization was in the thousands of pirates, he killed the first crew and grew from there

if ambition translates to power in one piece. maybe the warlord system's real purpose is the subjugate potentially dangerous pirates, which in turn stunts their ambition and eventual haki. if you think about it, the best way to kill another persons ambition is to have them serve you. just had the thought. but it kinda makes sense. with hunting other pirates and being used as a war potential being secondary to trying to get as many future problems off the seas and stifling there potential power being primary.
