Thank you, I use a ready-made blueprint - but I always wanted to create and understand how it works, especially since this is a development in mastering the system of materials!!!👍👍👍
Good tutorial 😀 I have question Fog Card vs Exponential Height Fog. Which is cheaper in level rendering? FogCard probably yes? What could be the potential gain?
@@turbosmooth4284 fig card can be cheaper. you can have more control over it in my opinion. But using them along side eachother is the best option to enhance the visual of the environment. I can have exponetial height fog as the main fog, and add fog cards here and there to add variation
I dont know if I missed some step now.. :) But is there any way to have it not being affected by lights? for example a spotlight in my scene is leaving a spot on my fog plane mesh
@@Isak1986 I couldn't recreate your issue. Canyou send me a screenshot or sth? The spotlight lights the fog card a little bit in my scene, but not in a bad way.
@@HojDee I figured it out it was a Rect light that was close to the plane and gave a weird rectangle light on the fog. I fixed when moving light , thank you so much for this turtorial!

They have released local fog in the latest update. 😊
