I have a new phone and I can receive all messages, but I cannot receive on my PC? Been trying for few hours. Anyone solve mystery? Oh, and I didn't ever set a PIN number for messenger chat. This is frustrating & , to put it mildly, ridiculous.

For easier solution click delete secure storage and re open it you can create a new pin :) hope it helps 🙂
