I was having a rather terrible day - dwelling in pain and grief. This video was inspirational, helped me to feel so much better; able to get up and get going on all the wonderful projects I have to work on. And think instead about plans I can enjoy making. Thank you so much. Onward🌻
My mother passed away in Nov of 2021, crochet helped me work thru so much of that grief. I taught myself how to knit this past November and have recently been wanting to start doing embroidery. There’s something so healing about working with your hands, it really helps to clear my mind and ease so much sadness and despair. It has been amazing for my mental health. I absolutely love your videos and these are so beautiful! I am also inspired by nature and love your nature journal! I have just followed you on Instagram also. I believe I have found my next new hobby. Your work is so inspiring and breathtaking. I am so very glad I found your videos! 💜
Love your sewing ,i started hand sewing a long time ago it help me through hard times with music seeing you and your work ❤❤ thank you for sharing your life it mean's so much ❤❤❤
That was just what the doctor ordered. I’ve been laid up in bed since Tuesday and in lots of pain but you never fail to relax me and make things better. Your stitching is absolutely beautiful and I’ve joined your Patreon as want to see even more. Your son is very talented too. Thank you again. Lesley x
Oh I hope you're feeling so much better now. Thank you so much for joining Patreon - we have some lovely content coming up. I used to live fairly close to where you live xx
Thanks Sherry,,,, So Nice to see UR stitchery,,,,It's lovely,,,, Loved my minis I got from you ,,,and sweet Robin book,,,,my husband put it under the tree for my Christmas morning ,,,,What a treat,,,, Now to use them,,,!!!they are special,,,, Elaine 💖❤
Your videos put me in a creative mood, love your storytelling 😊 Your wall hanging is just gorgeous, that’s what I want to do this year using the fabrics and ribbons and threads from your selvedge chronicles. Can’t wait for your next video! I love your love of birds and nature. Here in Michigan we have Chickadees, and they are here year round even when it gets very cold, like now. As much as I love your Wren, you’ve inspired me to attempt to draw a chickadee and add it to my stitched nature journal 📝 we’ll have to see how it goes 😊
Hello lovely xx The nature where you live is quite beautiful. The chickadees are so sweet. I'm so jealous of your proper snow! I'd love to see the chickadee you stitch xx
Your stitching journal is so beautiful! I am definitely thinking about making one! I already keep a nature journal and will have to check out the lady that you mentioned. Nature is definitely healing! We moved this past summer from the east coast of the US to the central part and I was having a hard time and I finally unpacked my hummingbird feeders after about a month in our new home and within an hour there were several hummingbirds. Just watching them and their antics were so healing! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your lovely message. Isn't it funny how nature can make us feel so much better. The birds are happy you moved there! Sending best wishes for much happiness in your new home xx
Am i remembering correctly that you like to read historical fiction? If so, i read The Paris Daughter by Kristen Harmel last month and it was very good. Takes place during WW2. I love your embroidery!! It's exquisite!
Happy 2024 to you. When you embroider lettering which stitch do you use? I embroidered some stuffed, heart shaped tree decorations for friends with their Christmas presents but I wasn’t pleased with the stitches I used for the lettering.
Hi 😊 So, The Stitchy Podcasts are numbered episodes but I haven't actually numbered the videos that are more tutorials - I'll have to do that. I'll put them in a playlist too x

Do you sell stranded cotton or Perle cotton in the hand dyed colour ranges? The wool is lovely but for embroidery a thread option would be good.
Your work is absolutely exquisite, Sherry. I’m currently using some of your yarn to knit a shawl, I love it 🤗
Oh thank you! The shawl - how lovely - i'd love to see it xx

Ooooh yes I love historical fiction. I'll look at that - thank you! xx

Hi Lynne - I usually use reverse split stitch as I find it gives a really smooth look to the letters x
@@SherryIris thank you, I will look that up in my stitch dictionary.
Hi sherry I would love to know how each video is numbered so I can follow you much easier
Thank you
