Great video and a fun fpv rc car for races. I noticed you too found that the 18650 cells are a bit variable on the dimension side of things along with the button top or flush.I found using 2mm x 7mm disc shaped zinc plated magnets are a great way to make flush top cells work in devices that require the button top. Either by placing the magnet directly on the top of the cell or onto the + contact of the cell holder. Magnet sizes can be different if need be to suit and are best found by searching ebay by the size required,alot of sellers list these magnets as "vape cell accessories" and charge more money but hey, a magnet is a magnet .hope it helps

Oh yeah I have used many tricks like that too! In this case, the fact the (+) side of the remote is subflush so even with a spacer, this wont work. Weird design.

Oh no, you do not need the internet. It broadcasts to the headset from the camera.
Must be made at the same factory as the SNT Sniclo cars. I wonder if these are slower than the SNT R27 which is much faster than the SNT 2011.

That is an old ZipZap one. Bought it at Radio Shack in the 2000's.
