- The streetlamp lit streets of Crossbell make for a nice set piece to a backstory.
I liked Elie's story here. Crossbell really is in a precarious situation having to please two major foreign powers while being rifle with corruption in no small part due to those two nations. One person can't hold back a river, and Elie's father paid the price for trying.
