Guys!! I deeply apologize for having this HUGE error! I must’ve been thinking about “Mother Love” since I had just listened to that before filming this video! This kind of huge mistake shouldn’t happen again!

@@TheBassPlayer I have mixed emotions, I think your reaction would have been so different if you had been thinking of the right video. You and your dad both had sad expressions most of the time and I think you both would have been smiling ear to ear instead. The Miracle is just a fun video. You might want to consider doing the reaction again.

The last video he made was "These are the days of our lives", and the song he couldn´t finish was "Mother Love".
This has me in tears every time I watch it - it's so beautiful, the message, the children, the little hug that big Freddie gave to little Freddie, it's all there. The time will come one day, you'll see, when we can all be friends.

The song you’re referring to that he couldn’t finish was “Mother Love”. He recorded 2 verses in May 1991 (he passed Nov. 1991), and Brian had to finish the 3rd verse sadly. You should react to that one also AND many of the songs on that album Made in Heaven have such interesting facts about them because it was the end of Freddie’s life and the lyrics ring true.
Like others have said, they made several videos after this one, like I Want It All(one of my favorite Queen songs, check thst one out), The Invisible Man, Breakthru, Headlong, Scandal, I'm Going Slightly Mad and These Are The Days Of Our Lives. If this had been his last video he would have not had this much energy. These Are The Days Of Our Lives was made 6 months before he died and you can tell.
Sanna Olsson this was the last video from the miracle if I’m not mistaken, meaning that headlong, I’m going slightly mad, and these are the days of our lives were the only three after it. But keep in mind this was 1989, while the innuendo videos were made after quite a bit of time, in 1990 and 91.
Those kids - totally talented! This is my favourite Queen 'Official Video'...loved the four of them with their kid counterparts. Queen was simply amazing. . . Freddie Mercury, the most uniquely glorious entertainer I've been acquainted with and I'm far from being young.
I also saw a very funny video of Roger and Brian reacting to their own videos many years later (not that long ago actually) and as they critique this, they laugh and say at the end when the curtain rises, “out come the daddies”!!!🤣🤣🤣

Watch the making of the Miracle video. You will see how talented the kids are, especially the one playing Freddie. Such a great fun video. I know by now that you know you have mistaken this for Mother Love. Miracle was officially written by all band members though Freddie and John were the main writers. Was It All Worth It is a great song from this album as well. Came out in 1989. Innuendo was the last album in 1991. You can watch a great closeup of beer on the drums during Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975.
Made In Heaven was the last album.
I've never really understood why some reactors get confused by this video. It's just a fun little idea for a video!
Great! An underrated gem! I loved the use of the kids in it and displaying the evolution of Freddie's styles. I also just adored how neart the end the real band members came out behind the kids like proud "daddies"! I won't try to analyze why they used the kids, but I just loved that touch.
I have a tip for you. As others have said, "Mother Love" was Freddie's last song. If & when you do it, please don't make the mistake some other reactors have by doing the one with weird scenes that look like they're from a science fiction movie. Even though it was posted as "Queen Official" video, it's some sort of student film & has nothing to do with the song.
It detracts from the poignancy of the song being Freddie's last recording, Brian having to finish it, and the emotional power of the lyrics. And the amazing ending Brian, Roger & Deaky added.
One of the videos with lyrics would probably be best. And have Dad with you. I'd enjoy his take on it as well as yours.

They thought it would be a cute idea especially since Freddie wasn’t “running around” much in ‘88. I thought it was very cleaver.
You should react to Winters Tale. It’s the last song Freddie wrote. He wrote it while in the hospital in Switzerland looking out the window.
This was NOT the last video Freddie was in. This was from the Miracle Album which was the second to the last album while Freddie was alive. He did videos for I Want it All, Breakthrough, Headllong which were on this album.
There’s no hidden “reason” for the kids. It was a cleaver idea to have the audition for Freddie a likes- which they have a making of video of on you tube.
The boy that won to play Freddie during his all his different looks was excellent.

He wasn't in the hospital in Switzerland while comkng up with that song, he was in the apartment he had there.
Sanna Olsson I saw a reaction on Winters Take and the host looked up info on the song before he started it and he was on google and read and showed the info on it. Yes, Freddie had an apt there, but it said he was in the hospital for a while getting treatment when he started making notes after just laying there looking out the window.
@@mmaloneym Phoebe, his personal assistant, has said though that he looked out of his window of his apartment one morning and got inspiration for the song. I think Jim has said it too. But whatever, it's not really the most important part here haha.
Sanna Olsson true, not that important. What’s important to me is that it is the last song he wrote. It holds a special place. I love that they used his notes in his handwriting on the video!

The last song that Freddie recorded was "Mother Love" and he sang all the lyrics except the last line. Brian sang it so the recording could be released. The last video he recorded was "These Are The Days Of Our Lives".
The reason that they used kids in this video is that they were trying to think of something new. They always had a problem coming up with something for their videos. Freddie was so impressed with the kids he suggested that they send the kids out on tour.

You have this confused with "Mother Love". I did request this video and I thought you'd enjoy it, this one's just for fun. Mother Love is the song Freddie never finished. There was no video. This "Miracle" video was made in 1988 several years before he died.
Also Brian said they had to prop Freddie up in the studio and he would sing it line per line. When Freddie never came back Brian sang the last verse.

Sandy Thomas There is a video for Mother Love, but it’s horrible. I don’t know why they decided to pair the song up with a sci-fi video, it distracts from the song. The lyric version is so much better in this case.
Freddie was already starting to not feel well. .difficult to get through entire video shoots but there's many more videos after this. The song he couldn't finish was " Mother Love"
I’m 45 when I was young we had Top of the pops every Friday night and on the weekends we had kiddie pops where kids literally recreated the videos of the top ten charred songs. It was a big thing in the 80s in the UK 🇬🇧. Not everything has a hidden meaning. It was just done for fun like the video of “I want to break free”
Every year, around Freddie's birthday Queen fans gather in Montreux, where Queen had buyed the Mountain studio's. They lived there also, when recording. Freddie loved the place! After Freddies death the producer working at the studio's bought the Mountain Studio's. (David Richards) He showed fans around, and telling little fun facts to know. At one of those meetings I attended, and told us that the last song Freddie recorded was A Winter's Tale. It's true he didn't finish Mother Love and Brian had to finish it, but David told us that A Winters Tale was the very last time at the studio. After that he went to Londen and that's where he died. Not my words, they were David's words.... Also, he was in big trouble because the studio's were located at the casino in Montreux and they wanted the space, and financially David was no match for the casino. David told us the studio's were to dissapear. SO... I told David he had to go to the city of Montreaux for help, because all those fans are attrackted to visit Montreaux he'd had to collect autographs and make a petition to the city. Since he didn't know how to do that, I went home and the same night I made a website "Save the Mountain studio's". I allerted the international Queen fan club to this, and within a view hours the limit of data was full, that many fans had signed! So David printed out all the autographs and the city of Montreaux made it possible to re-locate the studio's to another location. It's exactly the same as it was, just not in the casino anymore. I wish I could thank all the people that signed. So thank you if you are here and signed back then!
Freddie Mecurys lyrics in this song are amazing this was a fun song and the video was great Freddie said he wanted the kid who played him should do the tours for him lol.

There were a few reasons for the use of Kids in this video...one was merely the novelty ...the other reason was that Freddie was beginning to show signs at this point of failing physical health....and this allowed him little screen time ..and the screen time he did have at the end was all shot from respectful angles , using as much Gaussian blur as possible
actually the last song that Freddy was working on was Mother Love on the Miracle album.. Freddy got tired and said he would finish it later but he never went ack to record anymore.. in fact Brian sank the last part of the song

I don’t know where you’re getting your information. The Miracle album, which included this song had many music videos. “I want it all”, “The Invisible Man”, “Breakthru”, & “Scandal”. The next, and last album done while Freddie was alive was Innuendo. That album had videos for “Headlong” and “I’m going slightly mad”. At this point, Freddie was so thin, that his costumer had him wear thermal underwear under his costume. He wore a wig with full make-up, and was shot in black & white. Even through the pain, Freddie directed the video. The very last video shot featuring Freddie was “These are the days of our lives”. Brian has stated that Freddie says goodbye at the end, which you’ll see if you watch it. Other songs from that album were released using montages or animation (for the song Innuendo). The final song Freddie couldn’t finish was “Mother Love”. The lyric version is preferable. For some reason, the YT Queen Official channel features the song paired up with a sci-fi video. This distracts you from the lyrics and hearing Freddie’s pain. He had to do it one line at a time.
Brian stated that The Miracle was one of the most beautiful songs that Freddie ever wrote. Look at the lyrics. It references all of the many miracles that have occurred, both past & present. The use of kids was just another way for them to express their unsurpassed creativity. There are videos on YT showing how it was made, with the kids auditioning.
You got it wrong. The story you told is about the song Mother Love. There were actually several songs after The Miracle. Freddie’s last video was Days of our Lives
Is kind of extrange this is the first video that the kids are portraiting them in a video playing their music after that another group of kids are playing their music again in the movie bohemian rhapsody.

Thanks for apology. As said before Mother Love was unfinished and he destroyed himself singing the bridge in the song ''Out In the City''. So powerful from a weakened god. Winters Fall was last song written, the video has his hand written lyrics. Don't watch the official student made video for Mother Love pull up the lyric one. The Miracle is about positivity and hope. The kids represent that. The next generation fixing all the bad decisions and crap created by the previous one. Also disguises the fact that Freddie was looking thinner and not his usual self. And it was milk
