I had a 2012 Sportster 1200 Custom. It had a set of V&H pipes on it. It popped all the time. Ran rough too. I test drove a 2014 Sportster 1200 Custom. It had a full Stage 1 on it. Python pipes, V&H Big Sucker air, and a V&H FP3 tuner. Big difference. No backfire, no popping, no stalling. Much peppier too. You at least, need to get a tuner. I was amazed. Sportster Custom is a great bike for cruising around. Mine is a keeper.

Thank you for your comment! A tuner is most certainly coming in the future, just not sure when. The riding season is unfortunately coming to a close as temperatures drop and winds pick up, however that doesn't mean it's not a chance to get a tune. Safe riding!

Other dude was talking about your bike popping a lot my pop sometimes but not much it has before I did the stage 1 I only had stock exhaust with no baffles that popped not a lot but more then I like but after I did the stage 1 better exhaust air filter kit and fuelpak my bike run awesome know it still pops but only few times. Thank you for your comment, I've got more videos in the works! As for the GoPro I have a kit that mounts on my helmet that acts as a chin mount then a purple panda microphone in my jacket.
As for the popping, I'm not in a huge rush to fix it since it adds character and doesn't seem to cause much damage. Good to hear someone else has the same thing! Nice setup on your bike and ride safe 🤝

Why is there popping going on when you are decelerating? You might need a remap for that problem. Nice looking bike though 😊

The previous owner changed the muffler to a straight pipe so I'll more than likely remap it. Thanks for the comment!

@@johnyshirley3859 You can’t convince me that popping is normal under any circumstances. All my 18 bikes over the years never popped on deceleration. Time to find a new mechanic!
