I expected that the reaction to this would be mediocre as always, but I was pleasantly mistaken. No one is acting out of character, it is nice to see them having REAL dialogue, Raph being as mad as ever about unfair circumstances, and Leo having to keep a cool head even though he does not like any of it either. Mikey shows his everlasting compassion as always and poor Donnie, you are being bullied haha. I hope you make Mikey next or a whole reaction to how the turtles react to their other alternate versions. Love seeing the 87!Donnie around! Besides, if it is going how I think it is then he's going to go through a WHOLE lot of sadness and stuff. And especially go through what the Hotline was built for in the first place, and not recieve the amount of support he needs for at least a bit. Tbh for a story about a Donatello Hotline it does a great job of balancing its focus on the purple gremlins and the rest of the bros, though right now the Leos and Mikeys are mainly doing stuff in the background. It'll make more sense when you read it, didn't focus as much on their parts in the story but there's an insane level of world building that is amazing and helps us guess what they're doing during the events of the fic. It isn't completed yet, last updated in March of this year, and has over 120k words. I have a feeling it will get to AT LEAST 200k before its over, perhaps even higher in number.
