@Mom I have a younger brother who is like Raph (2012 hothead) I would offer myself as Rise Raph (being the oldest sibling of four little brothers) but i have (scary) similarities with other turtles too. (one of my others brothers says i have some kind of personality switch, where i act like one type of person, and then switch to a different personality. For example, I'll act like Leo and pull a dumb joke, then i act like Donnie when someone speaks directly after me and i will immedeatly correct someone if they are wrong about literally anything.)

I feel that way with Donnie a bit despite relating to some moments (like when he apologizes for his speech sounding like sarcasm when it wasn’t). Maybe if we got to see more of his thought process that might change Also the “sensory issues” they point to are things that are universally gross, which points more to him having a sensitive stomach than a sensory issue. I panicked and cried once because my grandma got me this goop stuff but it was so sticky and I couldn’t get it off my hands. I felt bad about that forever because we had to throw it in the trash and it was a present.

They are in the hidden city, In Witch Town specifically, and April was given a more witch-like outfit as a welcome from the residents, Donnie also got an outfit but it was a frog costume so he understandably took it off. The episode is Donnie vs Witch Town btw.

I love this series, my only complaints being they took away some of Mikey's personality to give to Leo, and that they also took away some of Ralph's anger issues. Then again, they all clicked together really well so I'm not sure how they would have thrown the temper of an alligator snapping turtle into the mix
I feel like they didn’t detract from Mikey they just added something Mikey always has to everyone else: Optimism. The turtles in Rise are so optimistic even when the deck is stacked and they don’t let it get them down. They also work with each other as a family instead of just as a team People complain about the filler but I love the filler because they are supposed to be a FAMILY and we get to see them acting like a family outside of doing their jobs.
1:26 that noise is actually pretty easy. You know that thing teenagers are stereotyped for doing where they drop their voice? It’s the opposite. It’s done by inhaling while minimizing your head voice without dropping it completely. It’s a breathy pterodactyl squawk.
