- Federal authorities said 25 people have been charged for their alleged participation in a wire fraud scheme that created an illegal licensing and employment shortcut for aspiring nurses.
Wow! This explains why the heathcare is so poor in south Florida.
Can you imagine it could be worse, what's if there are fake doctors out there .
@@reginagolden3291 . There may be some fake doctors practicing. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the doctors that I have seen were fake. Lol
According to many in these comments, they are all skilled and competent and deserved to be nurses

Tell her to work smarter 🤡

Facts,
This is shocking, and disturbing. When I took my board exams in 1983, it was a 2 1/2 day test, and I was proud of the fact that more than 90% of the students from my school passed our boards on the first try. I’m shocked that these schools were so unethical as to do this. I hope that they’re severely punished.
I wouldn't be surprised if this had been going on for years! We all better pray cause we never know! Smh!
I am pissed! I am a RN. I went to school and passed my board with hard work and determination. If someone paid their way to work as a RN without putting in the work. Heck no! They better not be practicing nursing on me or my love one. I hope they catch them all.
I totally agree with you!!
I’m also in nursing school struggling, late night studies, stress we get burn out; it’s not fair to us that’s working so hard to get our license. Arrest them
I'm an RN-this is terrifying.
You know this is World wide=I’ve been skeptical of some of the Nurses being brought over to the US to work due to our Nurse shortage
I am a nurse and through tears and two cracked teeth, i worked hard for my degree. I hope they pull all of their licenses.
Well make sure you don’t get bedsores from sitting in piss too long now 😂
That's technically practicing medicine without a license. Their license was fake, they should be arrested.
Nursing is NOT practicing medicine. Yes, they’re 100% but the two models are entirely different.
I think this has been going on for decades upon decades, some of the nurses I've seen seemed really stupid.
Haha lol
Really really stupid
Must be common practice
Take their licenses away from those who pay 💰! Send them to jail!
I’m an LVN and I went to a 1 year program plus 2 years for my pre requirements for RN. On that. 1 year I study my butt off and study non stop for my NCLEX. It was the hardest thing I have ever done.
The fact that they passed the NCLEX exam without completing the process and no known injuries of malpractice makes me wonder🤔
They are some people who are just smart hun.
I was thinking the same. I found NCLEX difficult and know some people who have done it 2-3 times before passing.
@@hazell1593 perhaps the scheme includes passing the NCLEX and they have discovered this yet?! Desperate Times encourage Desperate measures and there has been a Nurse shortage! Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it! These nurses most likely work in Nursing homes and agency nursing as it would be easier to hide this kind of scam=big unknown companies having been buying out nursing homes and agency nursing has been popping up everywhere which if you think about it>would be the perfect scam, as w in home nursing, most jobs do not require the kind of skills that would be required of a nurse as in a Hospital setting
i don't believe they pass Nclex.
@@kimlarso Good point re NCLEX. You are so right! It is very easy for nurses to hide their incompetence or lack of paper work via an agency. It is very scary!
Put those FAKE NURSES in jail! How did they fake their nursing skills and get away with it!
Covid was the perfect chaos for this to happen given the World wide Nurse shortage
TH-cam, who knows
@@kimlarso Yeah, I imagine the hospitals were so short staffed they looked the other way when clearly something was off. Many times they will work around an unskilled problem employee if they need the staffing or like them.
I’m not surprised because I saw a lot of online nursing schools during Covid shutdown smh I’m like how is it completely online..lives at risk
I believe they’ve only just scratched he surface=Don’t believe there aren’t Doctors (General Practioner, chiropractic)out there working just like so=we were told they had to bring over foreign doctors & nurses bc we’re facing a shortage=too many caught on camera videos show elders being abused by mostly foreigners so even CNA licenses should be looked into)….this should be on every state & local news channel but it’s not=We’re talking Billions is scams from fake licenses & care to billions in potential family lawsuits due to neglect -medical negligence =
Well said!
I'm an LPN. I failed the NCLEX the first time and passed the 2nd time. I know many rn's who have never passed the NCLEX and work as an LPN. That ish is hard. Not to be mocked
What did you use to study for content?
@@thendino1 It was over 15 years ago. They had practice NCLEX on cd's. Lol. The olden days.
It is amazing how this could happen! As a "foreign trained nurse" with 3yrs of nursing and 3years of midwifery and a year as a nurse educator, with british curriculum,I went thru some serious scrutiny. After practicing for almost 20 years in the United states,I waited for almost 8 weeks for them to verify with my schools in my country of origin before hired into a state service. For me,"amazing" is an under statement
This is crazy. I feel scared for the patient. Passing NCLEX is not enough it goes hand in hand with experience and knowledge.
Give those people life without parole. Healthcare is not a joke or should be apart of a scam.
Wow that’s the cheapest nursing school I’ve ever seen
They discounted the damaged in class and clinical experience
I'm glad I'm retired 30 yrs thank God 😊🙏
Why haven't they posted pictures of who those people are? There should be a follow-up story about this!
This should be on every State/Local news channel and it’s not & that’s a crime bc you know there’s been people harmed & major lawsuits to be had =In mean, it don’t get more serious than this! The citizens of every Stste should be talking w their a state Governor about having every nursing home & nurse agency investigated in particular =the turn over rate could/would be explained as criminals keep on moving and nursing is the perfect field for doing just this especially if they’re compact state licensed
Exactly! I was hoping they would put there faces on tv. I hope they expose them and keep informing us on what will happen next.
They won’t. This country seems to thrive on cutting corners and not addressing issues head on.
Yes we want to know. I got a feeling a friend's daughter did this
This has been going on for years in Miami
Over 50 years ago when I started my hospital RN career, the tests to pass state boards lasted 2 1/2 days. The RN program that I was in, was the first ADN program in that state and it was very difficult. There was one student who did great on tests yet ‘ oh my’ - - her bedside care skills were lacking (to say the least). I would wager that some of these ‘so called graduates’ may not even realize just how much their training lacked the necessary clinical skills. Back when I started working there was only one hospital RN for each shift (no matter how many patients), it was ‘sink to swim’.
Over my career, I met very few nurses who lacked even the most basic skills - - yet a couple of them couldn’t even take a blood pressure correctly, so they didn’t pass the orientation period (even when it was extended).
Bless your heart ❤
This makes me question all medical degrees.
That's why you obtain a professor's recommendation and you can research who the professor is
So those 3 schools. They’re not really schools? Like no lectures, clinicals?
The board of nursing exam NCLEX is online, not written. I took mine in 2010 Board of Nursing in a testing facility. How can they pass the NCLEX?
I am in nursing school, and working hard study every day and people will just 🤥
What scam is going on that they are able to pass boards? Boards are not easy. Unless, Florida's Boards are a cake walk? 🤨🤔
Covid Relief money was being used wisely during the nursing shortage. Government was willing to look the other way.
trace them and revoke their licenses
Why are they showing who these people are
Just think of how easily this can happen with those the US is bringing in from overseas due to our Nurse shortage??! You know it’s not only happening here!!!..
This is absolutely insane. I cannot believe this!!!! As a nurse myself I find this so sickening. So disgraceful someone can fathom doing this. I am glad it’s being exposed. Lock them ALL up!!!!! And to be honest not for nothing I find it even crazier these people actually were able to pass their boards. The NCLEX is very challenging. So wild. Also Really crazy cause Pearson vue (testing center for state boards) seems so strict I’m shocked people got away with this for as long as they did but truth comes out and Justice will prevail. Did these people really think they were gonna get away with it forever?! Lol
NCLEX isn't that hard
No good deed goes unpunished! Serves them right!
How did they pass the license test?
They studied
Some people can test better then others, and some people can read a book and be remember the entire book! Not everybody learns the same way! Testing is there process to determine your comprehension of studied materials! Bed side manners can be learned from observation! I have been to 3rd world countries where the doctors and nurses had no medical credentials, but we're extremely knowledgeable about treatment, diagnosis, and medical needs! If Americans would start reading books, they would learn this material!
How many patients suffered or died consequent to their "care"?
They will be facing jail time!
Gotta respect the hustle to make money tho 💯💯💯
So these were nurses in other states who might have thought this was a legitimate shortcut for them to be able to practice in Florida? Or did these “nurses” know they were participating in a scam?
There are no short cuts in Nursing school = they knew
They knew. Those who were failing some parts of the course and were encouraged to get the fake diploma.
The saddest part of this story is, most of these [fake] nurses have the skills and knowledge to perform the profession. However, due to the fact that they cannot pass the externship of their schools, so they decided to buy the diplomas from those unaccredited schools. 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
Now, it's hitting back in their behind.
Nursing isn't for everyone and that's why I gave up...Hmmm.
It feels sad at the same time. 😐
If they can’t do the externship, the few skills they have don’t matter. Thats like saying a guy can run and kick a ball so he should be in the NFL
@@leeolie3728 absolutely!
Disagree with original post. If you didn't go through training and complete clinical hours and practicum, then you have in no way proven that you have the skills or knowledge to do the job. I worked as a Medical Assistant and EMT prior to Nursing school. I took the practice NCLEX in my first term and passed with an 86%, meaning that I could probably have sat for the NCLEX before I started school and passed the licensing exam.
However, over my two year program (an accelerated program), I've learned a lot about nursing in the clinical environment. I find that almost every clinical day, I learn something about how to improve my bedside care, a sign/symptom I wasn't aware of or a trick to improve my workflow and help me complete my tasks more safely/efficiently. And that's from someone that has prior experience working in a hospital, alongside the nursing staff as an Medical Assistant. Imagine someone that just studies a bit, then passes a test but has never been in the hospital, has never set an IV pump or set up a hi-flow oxygen device or seen a patient actually desat or code. Passing a test does NOT make you a qualified nurse except in the eyes of a government that knows slightly more than zero about healthcare. Qualifying as a nurse is done every day in patient care.
@@aesirgaming1014 Well stated
@@aesirgaming1014 I agree!
how do you know to learn when you have a fake diploma? is it the paper or plake ? or a combination is lack of hour and study. ?
What my takeaway was, they still passed the national NUCLEX exams in order to get licenses. Therefore demonstrating proficiency with those attending a full nursing schools coursework degree.
So how is this different from an individual who sits and passed a bar exam to become an attorney, yet never attended law school? That individual may still get accepted to the bar and practice law.
Passing means you’re able to study material and use the information to pass the examination. It doesn’t really speak to your competence as a nurse. People who are formally trained have to go to clinical; we take tests and assignments; we have lectures. Becoming a nurse is a sum total of those experiences. It’s not simply about passing a state exam.
You might pass the bar exam but you still need years of training as it relates to legal research, writing and analysis, proper bluebook citations for case laws, as well as becoming proficient with not only the federal rules of criminal procedure, evidence, civil procedure, the penal code, but also the state rules as well.
Just passing the bar doesn’t mean you get to practice law nor does it mean you are well equipped to provide effective counseling services which will hinder you if your ex-client files an appeal for ineffective counsel which are taken very seriously.
How do you know they didn't cheat on the test?
Because the lives of innocent people arent at risk
Taking a test and practicing medicine are two different things. I'm a nurse-trust me, this is not something you can justify.
LOL THE WRITTEN EXAM -- MANY SO CALLED NURSES PAY SOMEONE TO SIT FOR THEIR EXAM TOO!
Some ppl are always trying to go about it the wrong way or a quick fix solution, while others to go the right way. I always say what u do n the dark will always come to a Light..."U CAN'T HIDE FROM GOD"
Some are in Texas!
So if you can pass the exam why not just go to school
WOW!!!
maybe these are the nurses doing Tiktok videos instead of providing proper patient care
Bingo
Um check Oklahoma
Oh Florida! ::Cue laugh track::
It’s Florida….lol. Hopefully Le Govenor will speak on it
This is real
99 1/2 won’t do. The road to success isn’t wide. It’s narrow so you can get there straight. I always tell my daughter, don’t cheat, take a bribe or steal, because it’s wrong and later in life it will come back to bite you in the ass. Get there on your own merit and never allow someone to lead you down a path of felonious gain. Trust in your abilities and if you can’t measure, find something that you can do without deception. God sees all and knows all. When you stand before Him you will be blameless and honorable.

More migrants on the move…..

Lol....ya migrants that can't speak english and the ones that can, speak broken english and with a heavy accent, those ones are getting nursing diplomas and taking jobs away from Americans. Ha ha ha ha, is this what your saying?
Migrants from Africa?
I live in south Florida and most of the nurses and medical office staff here are immigrants. The interaction with patients is very poor.
@@mskitty33311 well Florida does rank 48th out of 50 in health care. So you definitely going to get the bottom of the barrel nurses and doctors.
I thought HR is supposed to get the transcript from the institution or school to verify graduation not the piece of paper diploma.
They faked the transcripts
They are, which makes me believe this is much much bigger & deeper than we can even Imagine?!!!….online schooling & nursing do not go together but the criminals took advantage during Covid lockdown and scammed away!
HR dept people in on it at times

I see this because movie stars and actors and a lot of rich people have been doing this for years and it doesn't matter you should not have to have a degree to do any job according to how you America was founded education is one of the four evils that keep this country going you have school at emphasis on that. In my class at the college I graduated from there were thirty-five people in all six of my classes.I'm the only one that showed up in some classes Monday through Friday. And they got the same degree I got. Money baby you can buy a legal from the college... oops
