Pretty good choke
They banned all choke effect cards in the fellowship block ( except for 2) only to create a new choke effect card in the two towers for a specific deck. They eventually put an end to all effect choke cards. But the general choke was always carved into this game no matter what. Let me explain....
The game was always stuck in a dull loop by being forced to limit yourself to 5 companions at all times. Limiting the fellowships capabilities and at the same time creating a greater form of choke unconsciously. Due to enqueas presence. Which both punishes 𝙔𝙊𝙐 and your 𝙊𝙋𝙋𝙊𝙉𝙀𝙉𝙏. It does no good to the game but only harms it.
Playing less companions and limiting yourself to less than 5 should of been the only form of choke allowed. If enquea never existed, the game would have broken free from its chains. So in a nutshell, this game always restricted you from actually playing their game to its full potential. Whether that be the fellowship or shadow. Instead you have a counter card (enquea) created against the sheer principle of the game (9 companions) that 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 forms the entire meta around it and forces both you and your opponent to respect the new limit of 5 companions ( not 9 ). This creates the engine to stall and creates a choke point regardless.
Which from my perspective is just a major flaw in its design.
Game is a solid 3/10
