For the 11inch heart I used Loops& Threads faux fur in color pink rose, for the 7inch heart I used Loops& Threads chenille home slim in color rhubarb. Hi! You could definitely get the Bernat BIG yarn which is larger than this and use a bigger hook. Some people have done that and the pillows are huge and so cute! Otherwise, it's hard to say. You can start with more SC in your magic Circle and kind of just adjust the pattern as you go, but I don't have anything written up or figured for larger than this one right now.🩷

Hi! I haven't made a pattern for anything larger than this one, but if you use a jumbo yarn (size 7) like Bernat Blanket BIG, it turns out much larger! Just use maybe a size 12mm hook with that. I hope this helps! 🥰
Great tutorial! I used sweet snuggles by loops and thread yarn and still used size 9 hook and came out so cute! This is for my 3 year old for Valentine’s Day.
I made this heart tonight. First one ever. I liked the pattern and how you worked with us every step. I was unsure about beginning, little nervous but ended up okay i think. Mine is Seafoam green in Bernat Baby blanket sparkly yarn. I dont know about the bottom point, if I did it right lol but love this and I will make more for sure! Thanks! ❤

@samikapanchal9964 hi! This is the biggest one I've made as far as a pattern. But if you want a larger one, you can use two strands of the size 6 yarn held together. Or use the jumbo size 7 yarn and it will be much larger! I hope this helps 🥰

Im going to be honest. At first I was a little bit nervous doing this but I’m glad I stuck with it! I love how it’s turning out I used Eco tie dye loops and threads yarn from Michael’s! It’s a mix of pinks and white. I just need the heart to be Bigger! So I’m hoping I can figure out how adjust❤.

@kateforster4914 yes it will. But you can use two strands together if you'd like. If you have a size 4 yarn, use two strands to equal about the size I'm making. Or just use one strand and a smaller hook and it will just be a smaller heart ❤️

Hi! I don't currently have one, but you could use two strands of the blanket yarn together and it would be significantly bigger. Or you can use the Bernat BIG yarn, which is a size 7 instead of a 6 and it would be large as well! 🥰
Hi! It depends on what size yarn. If you are using a smaller yarn, you will want to size down your hook so that there aren't holes in your project. You can also hold two strands together if you use a size 4 or size 5 yarn. Then still use a 9mm hook. And if your yarn is thicker than size 6, then you will want to go up in hook size. 🥰
Awesome tutorial! Pillow came out really pretty I think I missed a part. Where do we close the whole at the top of the pillow? I still have the small whole in mines.

But ylsince yours is done, you can just take a piece of yarn and stitch back and forth to close it now. Then run your yarn through part of the pillow and cut it off. I hope this helps! 😊
@QuetzallyRamos-p5u I'm not exactly sure, but I'd say maybe about 150-200 yards of bernat blanket yarn or something equivalent. Like a size 6 yarn! They usually come in 220 yards and I know I get at least 2 out of them and maybe 3!

Hi, you can buy Bernat Blanket almost anywhere. That's the most popular chenille style Size 6 yarn in the US. Joann's, Michael's, Walmart, etc. And plenty of places online, just search Bernat Blanket. Any size 6 yarn will do and online they will tell you the size. Hobby Lobby also has a size 6 alternative chenille as does Walmart! I hope this helps 🥰

Hi! I mostly used Bernat blanket or Bernat baby blanket yarn for these. I have also used a Big Twist version from Joann's and Walmart has a Mainstays version as well 🥰
That will probably be too big of a hook and it will leave holes in your project. I would try a 7 mm hook and see how that works. It will be smaller than mine since it's a smaller yarn and hook. Or you can use two strands of your size 5 yarn and use a 10 mm hook and it will be bigger than the one in the video. I hope this helps!
Hey I have a confusion, I have 60 stcs but when it comes to 5sc and dec I don't have the counts even though I checked and did it again what should I do?
Hi, it's hard for me to say what the issue is if I don't have your project in front of me to see it. I would say try to count again and if it's just like one stitch off, that's ok. You will just end up with anextra stitch at the end and it shouldn't make that much of a difference since we just cinch the bottom together. I hope this helps! 🥰
@samikapanchal9964 at the end of round 8? If you watch that part of the video, I mention that you will ave 4 extra stitches at the end. So your count is perfect 😊

Hi! You can use the Bernat Blanket BIG yarn. Another girl did that and made a very large pillow! Or you can start with maybe 12 SC in each magic Circle, but then you'd have to change up the counts for each round if you're comfortable with that. I haven't worked out a pattern for that large. I’ll just follow your tutorial like normal passed the magic circle round? I bought a 101 yards 6 yarn and I still had A LOT of extra when I finished, so i didn’t want to waste
@nancyn4697 hi! Yes, you will just follow it as normal after the magic Circle round. You will obviously have more stitches, so the counts won't be the same for each round, but the actual stitches will be, if that makes sense. And you may have to do an extra round or two at the very end if the heart is not coming to a close yet since you will have more stitches. In that case, just repeat the very last round until you are satisfied with the point 😊
Thank you for the video, I used a chunky with a 6mm hook. It came the right size to put it in my daughter in laws coffin, and I made a biggerone for her mum.

Hi! I'm so glad you liked it! Yes just kind of keep doing the same pattern down. Maybe do 12 sc in the magic circle. And then after attaching, instead of doing 5 sts and then a decrease, you may want to start with 6 sts, then a decrease. Then work your way down to just decreases just like we did in this pattern.

I've had several people do that and they turned out so nice! You'd need a larger hook as well. Or you could hold two strands of the regular blanket yarn together with a larger hook. Hi! You could definitely get the Bernat BIG yarn which is larger than this and use a bigger hook. Some people have done that and the pillows are huge and so cute! Otherwise, it's hard to say. You can start with more SC in your magic Circle and kind of just adjust the pattern as you go, but I don't have anything written up or figured for larger than this one right now.🩷

Hi! I haven't made a pattern for anything larger than this one, but if you use a jumbo yarn (size 7) like Bernat Blanket BIG, it turns out much larger! Just use maybe a size 12mm hook with that. I hope this helps! 🥰

Im going to be honest. At first I was a little bit nervous doing this but I’m glad I stuck with it! I love how it’s turning out I used Eco tie dye loops and threads yarn from Michael’s! It’s a mix of pinks and white. I just need the heart to be Bigger! So I’m hoping I can figure out how adjust❤.

@kateforster4914 yes it will. But you can use two strands together if you'd like. If you have a size 4 yarn, use two strands to equal about the size I'm making. Or just use one strand and a smaller hook and it will just be a smaller heart ❤️

Hi! I don't currently have one, but you could use two strands of the blanket yarn together and it would be significantly bigger. Or you can use the Bernat BIG yarn, which is a size 7 instead of a 6 and it would be large as well! 🥰
Would i still use a size 9mm book if I'm using different size yarn?
Hi! It depends on what size yarn. If you are using a smaller yarn, you will want to size down your hook so that there aren't holes in your project. You can also hold two strands together if you use a size 4 or size 5 yarn. Then still use a 9mm hook. And if your yarn is thicker than size 6, then you will want to go up in hook size. 🥰

Awesome tutorial! Pillow came out really pretty I think I missed a part. Where do we close the whole at the top of the pillow? I still have the small whole in mines.
Hi! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial 🥰 If you go to 11:40 on the video, that's where I close up the hole at the top. But ylsince yours is done, you can just take a piece of yarn and stitch back and forth to close it now. Then run your yarn through part of the pillow and cut it off. I hope this helps! 😊

@QuetzallyRamos-p5u I'm not exactly sure, but I'd say maybe about 150-200 yards of bernat blanket yarn or something equivalent. Like a size 6 yarn! They usually come in 220 yards and I know I get at least 2 out of them and maybe 3!

Hi, you can buy Bernat Blanket almost anywhere. That's the most popular chenille style Size 6 yarn in the US. Joann's, Michael's, Walmart, etc. And plenty of places online, just search Bernat Blanket. Any size 6 yarn will do and online they will tell you the size. Hobby Lobby also has a size 6 alternative chenille as does Walmart! I hope this helps 🥰

That will probably be too big of a hook and it will leave holes in your project. I would try a 7 mm hook and see how that works. It will be smaller than mine since it's a smaller yarn and hook. Or you can use two strands of your size 5 yarn and use a 10 mm hook and it will be bigger than the one in the video. I hope this helps!
Hey I have a confusion, I have 60 stcs but when it comes to 5sc and dec I don't have the counts even though I checked and did it again what should I do?
Hi, it's hard for me to say what the issue is if I don't have your project in front of me to see it. I would say try to count again and if it's just like one stitch off, that's ok. You will just end up with anextra stitch at the end and it shouldn't make that much of a difference since we just cinch the bottom together. I hope this helps! 🥰

@nancyn4697 hi! Yes, you will just follow it as normal after the magic Circle round. You will obviously have more stitches, so the counts won't be the same for each round, but the actual stitches will be, if that makes sense. And you may have to do an extra round or two at the very end if the heart is not coming to a close yet since you will have more stitches. In that case, just repeat the very last round until you are satisfied with the point 😊
Thank you for the video, I used a chunky with a 6mm hook. It came the right size to put it in my daughter in laws coffin, and I made a biggerone for her mum.

Hi! Maybe about 100 grams give or take. I used Bernat Blanket yarn, which is 300grams and I believe I could get 3 out of each ball. Maybe 2 1/2. I hope that helps!

Hi! Yes, you can use any yarn you'd like. I will just be a smaller pillow than the one I used with the super bulky/blanket yarn. You can also use two strands of the chunky yarn if you want it to be this size 🥰

And then after attaching, instead of doing 5 sts and then a decrease, you may want to start with 6 sts, then a decrease. Then work your way down to just decreases just like we did in this pattern.

I've had several people do that and they turned out so nice! You'd need a larger hook as well. Or you could hold two strands of the regular blanket yarn together with a larger hook.
