@@Neojhun nah. It's pretty obvious when a car will be timeless insomuch as itll always be considered good design, not as in you cannot tell when it was designed.
That's the exact same reason why the Bugatti Chiron doesn't use touchscreens or a modern infotainment, as they wanted it to be a "timeless" car. IT's somewhat reasonable, considering that the information technology, screens, and touchscreens in general are guaranteed to improve in the future. I still prefer Koenigsegg's approach to make it cooler and more techier now, even if it means iT'll look quite dated in the future.
Timeless refers to the aesthetic design. You can roughly gauge what a timeless car would be, because it usually follows organic paths. Basically the same reason why you consider a girl or a guy pretty is why you consider a car pretty (oversimplified). Our brains have proportioning algorithms built into them that say what is pleasing and what is not, cars that are organic in nature and follow a basic, non-busy, geometry are usually considered timeless. The Mazda RX-7 is a good example, it's a simple curved geometry without too many details on it, it's profile in a way resembles how nature builds things.
for the love of god, please get a tripod for taking interview videos... I understand the "chilled mood" of a shaky video, but this one actually showed how much is too much...

Always cool to see electric vehicle startups.... But really...? We got enough play things for the super wealthy. Wish there were startups building affordable electric cars.
rreeves0710 there actually are if you look for them. One name to hand is Uniti, which is developing small EVs for the European market, though there are others with different products. In a few years the battery cost will have decreased enough to allow for even cheaper EVs comparable even in sticker price to their gas car equivalents.
When the automobile first came out, who do you think was driving them? It takes time and money to mature a technology to a low cost that can be sold to more people.
The first automobiles were electric, and tesla cars have been around for a while. I'm only whining cause they are making super-cars, not inventing to give the tesla model 3 competition.
Not just an agreement but also some sought of outside party Auditing. Privacy is soo fragile now. Especialy something as sensitive as where you go and the times you spend at locations.
I do not believe anyone is forcing you, but I do believe many will make least possible effort to tell you what data logging actually does. Things like anti-theft system is already pulling a lot of your information. It will be matter of time when you will be driving your normal car and manufacturer will be selling your data to advertisers so that they see you are driving into NY to give you "best deals". Maybe you will even get discount if you agree.
They have 158 cars, not much data that they can exploit to make money or do anything with it You share 10time more data with your phone and you do nothing about it

Telemetry data is good and all, but this is getting out of hand. This much technology for a car is completely unnecessary. It's at the point where useless tech is added for the sake of being "techy". I'm looking at you, night vision cameras...
I think peoples worry too much about privacy, but do you really own the car if it chances by it self? I want to be only one that makes chances to my car.
Uhhh... I have a conscience and actually care about the future of my race. Also, helping to create the IoT doesn't mean that I can avoid it, that would just make me a member of the party.
Please make videos like this longer. It's much more interesting than car reviews.
totally agree, more detail would be nice! :)
I want to see Hammond's hill climb speed graph.
Hammond is shit
Yes, we want it ! !!
Give us data
"here we can see that the speed increased as he is accelerating up a hill and then the data quite literally falls off a cliff"
This guy is my hero! Digging this series!!!
Love it. Great to see behind the scenes in such detail.
Brilliant! Thanks for sharing :)
That is like the neatest PCB boards ever
Amazing work :)
Sound good Mate.
why was this video private :D
and i dont think you can make a "timeless car" with so many technologies that get outdated every few years
Screw "timeless car". Stupid Arrogance when a designer uses that as an Excuse. No one can predict the future.

Dude did you guys like the vid. Im looking for love button😂 I really found it nice. Nice job👍
I would like to know which manufacturers are planning on implementing this real time spyware into private vehicles.
Ok but like Rimac and Koenigsegg should Collab to create one of a kind car
Shaky camera... :) You guys are selling subscriptions right?
Why were they showing all kinds of circuit boards and ecu's while talking about connected car data logging...

Nah, just a steadicam

What if Tesla and Rimac merged ??
Then a Beast will come in a form :p

rreeves0710 thankfully there is a 100 year old competitor: ICE vehicles
Not a startup anymore
3 fucking charge hours.....damn! Hope they can use graphene batteries and lower that awesome number even more
I see major privacy concerns here. I'd need to see a lot more about how they handle privacy before I submitted myself to that kind of data sharing.

"So we can see that somebody was accelerating from 0 to 260 km/h multiple times" so the guys had fun multiple times before Hammond destroyed it!
I think peoples worry too much about privacy, but do you really own the car if it chances by it self? I want to be only one that makes chances to my car.
Google want to know your location.
Compared to the Koenigsegg series, this one sadly is rather weak. I was looking forward to it but it's just shallow.
Are you fucking kidding me? You record the position as well? Isnt that a bit breaking the rules of privacy?
I don't see any cooling for the batteries. Also, f--k the internet of things, I don't want my car connected to any kind of network.

tesla, but humble
soft capacitors? facepalm all boerds look like shit they are. there is a reason its still only prototypes. nobodey would allow this deathtrap of a car
