Bampton is a very pretty little town. A pleasant mix of modern and old houses. Very calm. The shops and restaurants have very pretty windows that make you want to enter. Thank you for this beautiful walk 😀😀😀😀😀

Funny How A Video As Simple As Your Videos Can Be So Enjoyable To Watch. So Relaxing And Pleasurable. Makes Me Want To Visit England Again. I've Been There Several Times But That Was Many Years Ago. If I Could Make A Suggestion? A Camera That Compensates For The Bobbing Up And Down When You Walk Would Be Appreciated. Any Chances You Could Do Some Vids Of Mildenhall/Lakenheath RAFB? Or Of The Areas Around Them?
WOW ! I think the town of Bampton is my 'new' favorite spot I've not seen "Downton Abbey" but have heard how popular it is/was. I just adore this town and I think for me it was largely due to the age of the buildings and homes. The architecture makes me feel like I've gone way back in time and the brick and craftsmanship that went into building this town is just amazing! I've recently begun watching shows where they are taking old structures that are literally falling down and rebuilding them to the standards of the British ? Society where they have been listed as #1 or #2 so the people rebuilding are making them just as they were and will live on for hundreds of more years. So as we walked through Bampton I could appreciate so much more than I once would have been able to! I am so thrilled that they have this 'law' and people can't just tear down a place and put up a modern building. As one person said "Thank you Kevin for taking the time to stop at the Cenotaph and cemetery! Sorry the wind gave you grief but I thank you as always for your time and what you show us on each walk. They are all so unique from one town or village to the next ! Always a surprise but always beautiful walking......rain or shine winter or spring~~~Jo💞 (hahah maybe you should start limiting the amount one person can say in their comments as I seem to always have far too much to say 🤭)
When you did a close up of the hanging light at the door at 4:30, I expected a scruffy old Dickens character to open the creaky door and say in a cockney accent, “Ah! I been waitin’ for ya. Come in! Come in!”

There is so much more to come. The Cotswolds runs through five counties, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire, and Worcestershire. I haven't done much of Wiltshire or Worcestershire and haven't done any videos in Warwickshire yet. I also plan to record some of these villages in different seasons. It will be never-ending 🙂
I’m American. It would make me very nervous to drive myself in England. Been there twice but always had a driver. Because these towns are so old (built before automobiles) there are such cramped spaces to park cars. Makes these small quaint towns look messy with cars parked Willy Nilly. We are so spoiled here in the states. I live in the Pacific Northwest, Washington State to be almost exact, we have wide open spaces here, and most homes have garages to hide unsightly automobiles. Lots of elbow room. But I still enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Unfortunately those new apartment building at the beginning destroyed the view and feel of the village flavor!!
