Honestly, Lewberger's shows are second to none. It doesn't always translate to clips. I was genuinely shocked by how good it was when I saw them last year for their comedy show.
I'm thinking of going back to NYC for my birthday for a show and I'm hoping this is the case so I go to their shows :)

Holy shit, the Big Rock Candy Mountain VHS is one that I definitely watched at my Grandma's house. Weird hidden core memory unlocked. I had no idea it was a Wee Sing production; my main exposure to Wee Sing were the audio cassettes and lyric books on the countless road trips my family took. Had no clue they were related, but this tracks.

I like Alex a lot more in a setting like this when he's not putting on a character like in the Keith Eats series. I'd love to see him and Hughie on the postcast more often
I have to agree. He's such a cool knowledgeable dude and I had no idea until this podcast. His normal persona usually rubs me the wrong way, though I never disliked him. Now I'll be looking forward to more Alex appearances.
I agree wholeheartedly!! His usual Person is slightly off putting (which I’m sure is a comedic point) but seeing him so relaxed, I really do love hearing him talk about this show!! All three of the guys are So passionate, and yet they aren’t too overly serious about it and I love that
Yeah Keith eats the menu made me realllyyyy not like him and you worded it perfectly; he's putting on a character and it's too much
I'd rather it be HIM and be too much. You can be corny and silly but be yourself and not something that you THINK the audience would like
That builds the same connection that we've gotten from the other guys

I loved the Lewberger shows I saw, they were high energy and wonderful. They are so worth seeing, it breaks my heart that I probably won’t be able to make it to NYC to see them in this. I do hope they sell out. And it blows my mind that they have a potential to be both Grammy nominated and Drama Desk nominated this year. I’d love it if they won ALL the awards!
As someone who rewatches The Two Towers as a “fall asleep” movie frequently: it’s ALWAYS Frodo falling into the nightmare pool of death

With this and guilty pleasures Zack is a really good interviewer and host, I mean all the guys are truly but he definitely shines in this types of videos. I loved hearing about the show in detail! I’ve been waiting for a video like this!
Thank you so much for this episode. I was so privileged to be able to see lewburger in LA and enjoyed every minute. I really want to go to the New York but don't think I'll have the time and thought "if only there was a way I could help a fan go to the show and support them." It's as if you read my mind!!! Regardless if I can go, I hope you guys have a great show and Zach, you asked great questions of the boys!
I don't think I fully understood before listening to this just how much is going into this show. I have such massive respect for all of them and I really hope it pays off!

Wee Sing was a huge part of my childhood!! We had so many of those VHS’s!! But my cousins had Big Rock Candy Mountain and that one was just a little traumatizing LOL

I loved WeeSing as a kid and fell into the hole of it on tiktok recently but none of my friends have even heard about it. I love that y’all were inspired by it and talked about it. My sister and I rented Grandpas Magical Toys from the library so many times we killed the VHS 😂

new york is amazing, my first time there was like a dream, I always recommend, if you're going to do one of the observation decks, go to 30 Rock, beautiful building and the view is amazing, most people say Empire State, but guess where you can't see the empire state building, when you're on top of it! do both if you can but I know it's pricey! also if you are a fan of late night shows, you can apply for free tickets to them. colbert, seth meyers, fallon etc
I would lo e to go to NYC for the first time, From Ohio. How much do you think it would cost?
@@niheala56 I'm from Scotland so I had different travel expenses, but it can be pricey and has only went up since I last went in 2018. I reckon including travel, hotel, show tickets, food, other attraction's, at least $3000 for a week long trip. but this is is me being international and having to fly and wanting to stay in Manhattan. possibly cheaper way of doing it for us residents
@@niheala56 For travel(amtrack from Chicago), hotel, and tickets, I'm at $1800 . And that's not included taxi's, food, souvenirs, and any experiences. Also planning can make a big difference, I would've saved at least $600 if I would've booked a month ago when I first wanted to get the tickets.

Truly love all of this. Love that you all are getting to do something that’s a dream of yours, developing more skills, having fun, giving opportunities, still staying truthful to who you all are at your cores, and I LOVE how it’s this separate thing for Keith but at the same time our Try-community loves supporting Lewberger as well. It just makes my heart happy when I hear you all talking about this.

Omg I have never heard anyone else talk about wee sings! How exciting! It was a great series! And I miss it! I found some audio available on iTunes. My cousin and I loved it! Yes! It was so strange but I learned so many different English lullabies, which was strange being a first gen Mexican American lol

This is honestly so inspiring. While we might not have the resources that they have, there are still ways to go for the things you’ve always wanted to do. Lose the self-doubt, reach out to your communities, and go for it! No more waiting on someone else to give you permission

We Sing: Big Rock Candy Mountain was my FAVORITE movie as a little kid. So much so that my parents bought me the DVD for my 16th birthday. At 32 I still have it and will occasionally get very stoned and watch it and sing along and all is right in the world.
So proud of you guys! Wish I could make it out to New York to see the show but will be sending love from the Midwest!
Sally’s Birthday Party We Sing is the main one I remember too, Alex. Never knew what it was called but it lives in my head rent free. It just does. Core memory.

WAIT WAIT WAIT, I had the Wee Sing cassette tapes and sheet music as a kid, I was OBSESSED with them and listened to the tapes all the time and learned how to read music partially from following along in the sheet music book! I had no idea until right now that there were VIDEOS????

I am a big big try guys fan, but I also really like Lewberger, and that’s because through your presence and try guys videos I’ve really grown to like both Alex and Huey separately from the try guys but also because of the try guys
