If you live relatively close a cheap electric scooter would make make that trip home soooo much easier. Like razor scooter size, that can cover your distance home. I have an electric bike, cheapo Jetson from Costco (it folds in 1/2) I can use to get home if my truck broke down, but I only go about 5ish miles from home (V8 460 engine) , due to this Administration's gas prices more than doubling. I miss $1.88 gal/gas with 4 cents off for cash! As my Dad always said "Just keep the top half of your tank full baby, the bottom part takes care of itself." lol
Great video!!! I would add a multitool, a lighter, a bandana, Celox/Quikclot, a n95 mask, eye drops, protective eyewear, a compact mirror, nail clippers, extra batteries for your flashlight and headlamp, a power bank/solar charger, and a water filter straw. Entertainment/comfort items are good to add as well. A map of your area is a good idea, so that you know where different landmarks are (lakes, rivers, ponds, etc.).
Hello again listening and useful items to aid you in your “ epic walk home”. I understand about about not really standing out. Maybe add a hat. Take CaRe
I would ask you to re-evaluate your items with the following criteria. What is the percentage of certainty you will actually use this during your 6 hour journey? When I removed items I thought were less than 10 percent likely (excluding first aid) my total pack weight dropped to 12 pounds.
Yes! My total bag weight including extra shoes, socks, and water was 9lbs. There is alot I dont bring in my get-home bag that I do include in my go-bag(longer journey). Thanks!
Nice.
