- Hi, Welcome back! Day 1, Travel, Embarkation and Departure all in Day 1! A very busy day, travel to Southampton, Ocean Terminal to embark on P&O's Iona for a 7 day Norwegian Fjords Cruise. I think the excitement showed!
We ate lunch at the Horizon Buffet before unpacking and exploring the ship. Followed by a VERY large dinner at The Beach House restaurant. Ended our evening with watching Festival, the Headliners Theatre show. A very enjoyable day as we departed Southampton and headed out to the North Sea.

Hi. Going on this cruise on Saturday. Were you able to bring your own spirits and soft drinks on board?
Soft drinks yes. The policy changed just before my cruise so that only 1ltr of wine or champagne can be taken onboard, no spirits.
I didn’t take any alcohol at all, but I did talk to guests who had purchased spirits from room service for almost the same as a supermarket.
I was actually on the cruise before yours! I disembarked the day you embarked haha. Anyway, have fun! :D
