One Favourite Metropolitan Line Journey

  • Probably my favourite journey out of other favourite trips whilst riding on the Metropolitan line is taking a ride to Baker Street from Finchley Road on a southbound Metropolitan line service towards King's Cross St Pancras.
The line travels from Finchley Road station, passing through Swiss Cottage, and its other abandoned, and no longer existing stations, plus an area where Chiltern Railway trains come from and to Marylebone before reaching Baker Street station.
Most of the journey is underground, and has this cut and cover method used to make the Metropolitan Railway to become the first Underground line in the 19th century.
