    I’ve viewed days and days of Real Estate Agent videos, and this video hands down is the best! Heidi’s natural personality should be a lesson to most agents.

    I totally agree with the comment that "you don't need to wait for results to keep doing something". This is SO true because I was working on a blog several years ago and gave up for a while thinking no one would read it and when I checked it a few months later I had almost 100k views! This video was a good reminder to keep pushing even when you don't see immediate results. I'm currently working on getting my license.

    This information is so helpful and inspiring. As someone in their mid-50’s and switching gears to a new career, I appreciate the ideas you’ve shared. Thank you!

    Great information and very encouraging! I was just licensed the week before new years. I'm from Baltimore but have lived in Philadelphia for 5 years so my local sphere is not big at all. I know it's going to take a lot of hard work and time. I am prepared for that but it's refreshing to hear from someone who built themselves successfully from scratch and didn't solely rely on SOI.

    All over the Internet, articles advise people to not hire friends and relatives as realtors because (1) sensitive information about finances are revealed (2) relationships could get strained if the deal doesn't go well, and (3) the agent in your family could be inexperienced. This is confusing because when new agents sign up with a brokerage, the first thing they're told to do is contact everyone in their "sphere of influence" (SOI) to ask for support so that new agents can get work experience in the real estate industry. However, too often, people in agents' sphere of influence have a different perspective of them. They see them as peers or the kids they've watched grow up through the years, rather "professionals" to be taken seriously. I'd like for more realtors to talk about how they deal with these common objections in their own family.

      The best way to handle these objections is to become the best resource for real estate information. Study the game, know the market, know the market statistics and if you need the backup partner with an experienced agent on your first few deals to give them confidence. I hope this helps.

    I LOVE this idea. Two resources I found to find your feeder markets are: “How money walks” and the US Census Bureau flow chart. Do you know of any others that are useful?

    • @JimmyBurgess
      @JimmyBurgess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Those are great! I would ask your office referral coordinator, your local school district may have data on where students transfer in from, or ask other agents what their experience has been in regard to areas people are moving from to your local area.

    How did you get the mailing addresses of the top producing agents? Love this idea!

    • @JimmyBurgess
      @JimmyBurgess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      John, we have access to Broker Metrix, but a number of agents simply do Google searches for top agents in that market and gather the email addresses that way. Others have gone to their sister companies in the same brand or offices in the areas websites and gathered them that way.

      @JimmyBurgess  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dawn, I’m not sure which Heidi used but I’m guessing she used the office address based on the way she said she looked them up.
