Exactly! Charity adopted Johnny and loves him just as much as her other sons and Debbie. Vanessa had no right to not let Charity see Johnny when they broke up. And shows how much Vanessa really cared about Moses and Noah
I think Vanessa was trying to protect Johnny. Vanessa dad Frank cheating on her mum when she was younger and I think her dad made her promises to see her but her never did until he got back in contact with her when she was an adult and to be fair as much as Charity tries her best she has hardly been the best mum in the past always letting her children down in some way especially Noah and she did not see Moses for a year
We all know they're gunna make it a slow burn for their reunion. Next week seems like it's going to piss off Vanity fans. But it's typical soapy stuff. They start to bond, then they argue or another relationship is in the way. Then they start the flirty sexual tension. Then they start to miss eachother. Then denial. Then truth.Then reunion. Robron springs to mind in comparison. I'm hoping for the same kind of epic, heart warming reunion speech. And I reckon an even better reunion snogging scene. I predict 6-8 months.

It was wrong of Vanessa to run at Johnny as if Charity would do something or say something to hurt him. Then lie to Charity say he got away from her. That's not why she jumped up was to keep the boy away from Charity. Charity is putting up with Vanessa behavior to extent. At least Ro put it to her she was acting selfish in her behavior to cut it out. Charity needs to watch Vanessa if she lets the boys play together.
No, Mac, what's really "weird" is that Charity is even with you! I can't see how Charity can look at you, much less... anything else and not be reminded of the totally impulsive and oh so regrettable choice she made that fateful day, which in turn ruined the best relationship she's ever had!! And let's not forget, she resisted your charms for months on end and didn't actually get "involved" with you, until AFTER she found out Vanessa had a new girlfriend! The latter does not bode well for your future relationship. And I believe from the look on your face, she's not fooling you with that last line, accompanied by an OTT smile and eyebrow wiggle, no more than she's fooling us. Her feelings for Vanessa run very deep. They went through A LOT together. Charity is just being extremely patient with Vanessa, knowing her well enough to realize that pushing Vanessa will get her nowhere! Charity's playing "the long game", when it comes to Vanessa. We all know how Charity loves "a challenge". And I do believe she's already accepted and taken on the challenge of winning Vanessa back, gradually. These playdates with the boys... well, they are a perfect opportunity to do just that, aren't they? That is, if the show doesn't screw it up!! Vanessa's reaction to Johnny running over to Charity, coupled with her completely OTT and utterly incomprehensible knee jerk reaction to Charity's response to Johnny, (which was the right thing to say, btw, and the ONLY thing she could say) is just proof that Vanessa isn't over Charity, either. Not by a long shot!! That was just Vanessa's own guilty conscience, lashing out at Charity. Otherwise, Vanessa would be quite indifferent to Charity. And we all know how well she can play that game. Vanessa is indeed a "stuck up cow", as Charity once called her, as well as "spoilt, and a hot head, and... so unbelievably bossy it's beyond annoying", but... that's what works for Charity. Each of their faults and flaws, combined with their juxtaposition of moral values and their arguments stemming from these same things, are what put the spice in their relationship. It also makes for good drama on the show. Vanessa prompts Charity to WANT to be a better person. Charity and her Dingle relatives, bring excitement and drama into Vanessa's rather mundane life. And although Charity may have become "comfortable" around Mac... for some people, like Charity, comfortable doesn't always equate to Happiness. They often need someone to "push their buttons", in order to grow and change. "No pain, no gain..." And if TPTB are smart, they'll see what a good thing they once had in these two characters together and milk it for all it's worth. Strange, isn't it, how so many of us can objectively look at their situation and observe things that we most likely wouldn't if we were in the same situation ourselves? I know I'm most definitely guilty of doing just that.
What a welcome turn-around that was from Vanessa (almost too much?) after her ridiculous over-reaction to Charity at The Hop! More, please, Rhona. And how great to see Charity look more like her old self at home. Brighter, more colourful. Even before she knew Vanessa was about to call in. She's been made (deliberately) to look so dull and downbeat for ages now. Shame that Mac The Prat walked in but it could've been worse. He could've come bouncing down the stairs..... And keep up the childish behaviour please Mack. It's helping our endgame!

Wow. My disgust towards Vanessa just grows with each episode. I forgot how much I disliked her before her and charity got together. I’ve gone from hoping they get back together when she came back to thinking charity is too good for her. To be that selfish that she can’t look past her own feelings long enough to do what’s best for her own son is messed up. He’s charity’s son too and she has every right to see him and to even take Vanessa to court for keeping him from her for so long and still continuing to now that they’re back. Then to try to blame charity for “making it seem” like she’s the one keeping Johnny from them when charity doesn’t have to “make it seem” like anything as Vanessa’s doing that just fine on her own. The fact that she was more concerned about herself and her issues that it didn’t occur to her how keeping johnny away from charity and Moses is affecting him, even after seeing him visibly upset and needing to be told that by someone else is ridiculous. She as his mother shouldn’t need reminding to put her son first, and before herself.
Vanessa needs to get counselling she is hurting a lot from Charity cheating in her and has to talk to someone who can hopefully help her with her anger and sadness

Projecting, perhaps? I just... I don't sense any real... feeling or chemistry coming from Charity where he is concerned. She always seems a bit... depressed or lackadaisical around him. They banter well, but... it feels so... surface oriented and... actually, kinda fake. Emma doesn't usually come across as fake in her acting, but... with Mac... it sure seems that way to me. No, you're not imagining it. Charity's feelings for Mac are forced (look how difficult and unnatural it was for her to say "I love you" to him) and Emma acts that brilliantly. How she can turn on and off the way she feels about different people - ie Vanessa and Mac -is incredible. She's always been different around Vanessa (Since Day 1) than she is with anyone else. I'm pretty sure Emma and Michelle really clicked off screen too but she acts it very well as well.
