When boarding ships, I only use unarmed combat. I like to think that Edward has a reputation for being a fucking psychopath who can clear ship decks with nothing but his fists and feet.

pro tip for assassin's creed 4 & Rogue:
if you want to plunder a level 40+ Man O' War ship but you're at the beginning of the game, just swim up to it (be careful to not ram ship), fight all personnel by yourself, *then* begin the plunder process. the ship becomes dead in the water in just one cannon strike for some reason.
Yeah, another way is to set a marker so that you know how close you are to the ship. Once you hit about 570 meters, (may vary) you release the wheel. Your ship will continue to float towards it, but now you can wait for the ship to come towards you and then jump onto the sails. Then, just kill the soldiers, get back on your ship, and blow one more cannon into it.
also you can swim up to ships that are anchored into harbours
I tried doing that. Instead, I ended up having a legendary battle with it and I barely made it out alive.

Black flag was pretty epic. Completely different, new, fun, exciting and definitely has the best soundtrack of the AC series so far
And that's why im still playing! I finished the game for the third time today! And going to the fourth!
+Ethan Goepper The game is so different because it's about Pirates, has some about assassins too, but Pirates are the focus in this game. It really got nice.
+Gabriel Vitali It's probably one of the best pirate games of all time. I'd say Black Flag and Sid Meier's: Pirates! are the best.
+Winston_KillDeath I loved Pirates!, sunk so many hours into it, but I frankly grew tired of it. Some of the activities were so repetitive that at one point, I just said fuck it and uninstalled it. If you haven't yet, try the Pirates of the Carribean game with community build patch. It's still rough around the edges, but it's the same concept as in Pirates! on steroids and without the repetitive qte minigames. Once you get into that game, it's an ungodly time sink.

Yamazuki have you heard the song Ships of Legend? It plays when you fight a lvl 75 ship. 1 in each corner except for top right has 2 so 5 legendary ships
Those 2 ships are twins, and they share the power of 1 single legendary ship, like Impoluto.
SuperSonicFan172 the achievement says sink all 5 legendary ships. Five, and btw they are pretty much the hardest legendary ship battle, I destroyed impoluto in 2 tries, took me 10 for them.
MrTesla1231 Those 2 count as one, have you ever defeated one twin and then went away from battle, and when you returned the other twin was left? No, because you have to defeat both of them in one battle. 5 ships, but 4 battles.
Lume unless your fully upgraded then it's easy to take down a ship (I'm fully upgraded 100%)

Yeah this still makes sense because there are still proper assassin centric missions. But Odyssey and Valhalla have little to no "assassin" content. Black flag is primarily about pirates but assassin's still play a pretty big role. Unlike the last two games. No offense to anyone who likes them.
@@arsalanhossen3874 Odyssey was dog shit. But valhalla is not that bad. Even though the protag is not an assassin I still felt a strong assasin vibe from eivor Even though he is a complete opposite of an assasin.
I dont mind Assasins creed jumping into focusing on the isu civilization. We cant just keep isu vague and mysterious. We need to know more about it so that the Story can progress. So I like the direction the story is going but I don't like the direction the game is going.No assaisins, No stealth or Improving Ai.In gameplay wise the series is completely getting unoriginal and generic. Even though I like it I don't enjoy it. I don't get the same feeling I get while playing every ac game before Odyssey.
Origins even though it had a level mechanism the story was phenomenal. Bayek is amazing and the gameplay even though it had level system the game had good stealth mechanics. So there was no need to attack everyone you can just shadow your way through. Like a REAL Assasin
Odyssey I don't want to talk about it. I don't like it at all. No offense to people who like it.
Valhalla a mixed feeling. Eivor was good character in my opinion. The story was slow but it was still good. Assassins was a major part of the story Basim,Hytham.The story was good and I felt an assasin vibe to it and how it connected to AC 3(Vinland) and ac 2(Ezio as The unknown voice) and Desmond. I liked Valhalla.
But I seriously hope they go back to the old ways. I am not saying to make a game exactly similar to altair, ezio or Connor saga. That's will be just releasing the same game. But I want assassin creed to get it's soul back. The philosophy, wisdom, Hope, BROTHERHOOD,ASSASINS and incredible characters.I want it back

But they are trash assassin's creed games. The way it is now is like having superman in a batman game. Superman is only being restricted by the title of "batman". So if we just remove assassin's creed from the titles from them and change into a proper rpg it would be way better. Yeah eivor is an assassin like character. Yeah but when you can jump of a mountain and not have a penalty for it your going into mythological territory. It desolves the facade of finesse and being two step ahead of your enemy. You might say assassin's creed was never really like that. True but it was obvious it was building up to it. And it was quite obvious that the old ac games were leading up to ac game set in the modern age as Desmond. But after Desmond's death it fell apart so the old games are also at fault. Assassin's creed was never given the chance to be a better stealth game. But hey just my opinion. You can like eivor if you want to.

Because I maxed the Jackdaw and its easy to take out ships even man o wars, I purposely have to stall the fight and just sail in circles just so I can listen to the soundtrack.
