There are remains of much older roads, way above that 1949 sign, where you can still see remains of moss on the rocks. I wonder when the lake was up there.

Growing up here in the 80s and 90s I've always wondered why that courthouse shut down, and replaced by a bland, flat and unattractive building. But those Armed Forces Day parades were the best, thanks for your service.

My mom grew up on walker lake had their dirt streets named after her and her bro sis.
