Thank you for your video. I think if you try to film important parts like removing and installing LCD and using a ring of light improve the quality of your videos. Good luck
Hi Mate, brilliant video thanks. Can i ask if only 1 Led on 1 strip has gone, I know they are inline so no led on that strip will work. But should the other strips work? or are all 4 strips inline with each other? resulting in no ed on any strip works if 1 led has blown? Also where did you buy the individual led from please? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks Meurig
Thanks, I found a multimeter at home. I've opened the TV up and tested each led and all of them are working which is strange. But not powering up when the TV is on?
Hi mate. Not sure if you will still see a comment. I tested backlight led with a cheap multimeter I have on diode mode, it worked fine on a 32 TV I had and I found the faulty led. I used it on a 49 TV and couldn't get a reading on the backlight strip even after checking I had copper contact. Is my cheap multimeter the issue, have you come across this before? Why would it work on one backlight but not another?
@@AnonymousRepair would one of the specific led testers be better and work? How would you go about diagnosing a bad led with the multi led? Thanks for helping out with advice too it's appreciated by all.
Hello friend, I have a question, at minute 2:24 those flexible gold-colored cables that are connected to the screen can heat up when you turn on the TV, thanks and greetings from Argentina 🙂🙂
We took our tv to get fixed, now when you switch it in the backlights work for a couple of minutes then go off again, as you switch the tv off & on they go on but not for long, what could be the problem

@@hasrashid5433 Could be that High Voltage for the backlight is faulty

Hi, Some leds have more than one led inside so a standard multimeter would not work
