I actually think splitting up bigger holidays into multiple smaller ones one day after the other is a great idea! Sometimes I get overwhelmed with winterfest, especially when I have big families. I could do one day for decorating and one for family dinner... Why have I never thought of that before?
I love making custom holidays for my sims legacy save. One of my favorites is Dare Day, which includes traditions like getting drunk, being mean, and streaking
"The dad is hogging the firepit" - me, instantly thinking of the many times I've observed "the dad's" doing the cooking at barbecues etc: "yeah, that tracks" 😂
for sending the kids off you NEED adeepindigo youth, family and friends activities mods! there’s so many amazing rabbit holes plus you can even send NPCs off when you visit a household but want the rest of the family to leave 😉
6:42 there’s a mod “activities for all” by Zero and there’s no age requirement, you can send Sims to rabbit holes without a chaperone. It’s old and still works; I still use it and tandem with a bunch of other mods
I play on long and added 3 days back to back for summer vacation and 2 days back to back for easter in the spring, mostly doing like BBQ, water fun and drinking something. And some smaller ones scattered like Mother's/Father's Day, Halloween, and Children's Day. I do like the fitness one you did, I might add like a health day or maybe Skin health day since I recently got a mod that does skin care, I'll see if I merge them or do both separately. Great Video as always, I love getting inspiration from the videos you do! ❤❤
I don’t understand why someone made a mod for custom holidays when it’s an in game mechanic already. I make my own custom holidays all the time. It’s an essential part of my gameplay.
There are so many human-made holidays in the Sims 4? I'm surprised that the moders haven't created a try for a baby day. Major LOL! I'm okay with the basics. In my real life, I don't celebrate any human holidays. I only do it in the Sims 4 because it's mandatory, and my sims suffer if I don't do it. And I don't like to see anything suffer.
Those fire pits piss me off. I stopped using them because every single time my sims light it the stupid thing catches fire and my sims stand there like a bunch of idiots. Can’t even get them to put it out. I quit using them. 😂😂😂
The reason why only one sim can use the campfire at a time? Is because it wouldn't have taken Maxis longer to come up with the programming, and it would cost money to give the players a proper experience. Maxis and EA Games only go as far as making profit. It's the same with the horse and rider entering a competition. The horse enters, then the rider follows. It's simple programming that doesn't cost Maxis and EA Games too much money. But, they can charge top dollar for simple programming, because most people fall for pretty things. Major LOL!
i’ve been playing sims for almost a year now.. i haven’t purchased any packs yet😾😾. which one do i ask for?! I was thinking growing together? or high school years?!
If you like playing with families from baby till elder I would say Growing Together, just because it makes infants really existing. If you mostly play with teens and young adults then ai would say HSY and University would be cool, but University is in my opinion the hardest pack to play. I just love my sims having degrees and the grind is kinda fun sometimes. My personal top 5 are Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle (it goes surprisingly well with CL, eco friendly village, my dream), Seasons and HSY, and I don't even play active school days, I just like many options that are in this pack. I would look at the build/buy objects in the main menu of the game and see which pack's style you like the most. And you can always just 'unlock' them, see if you like the gameplay and maybe, if you're feeling generous, then buy them, but I wasn't the one suggesting it 😂
I absolutely dislike the geek event and the other events like it. They're are only useful if my sim doesn't work or takes a day out of work. You would think that Maxis would have created the program so it rotates, because if I set my sims lifespan to short, they will die before it becomes useful. I don't think that Maxis really thought out the time table of everything. A sim can conceive a baby and three days later, give birth. But, season can be fourteen days long. A real pregnant person can go through three seasons before giving birth. But one stage of their lifespan on the short setting is 7 days. It doesn't compute or make any sense. I'm not really good with mathematics, but it doesn't make sense to me. I can understand that some players won't want a sim to be pregnant for three seasons. But still? At least try to get things to make some sense. Maxis should rethink the time tables of things, at least in my opinion. It's not something that ruins the game for me, it's just weird.

This is the start of a cult.
@@Idkpleasejustletmechangeit I just like watching her videos

Exactly what I needed!
The moment I saw you drying the laundry before cleaning the lint tray I said "DON'T DO THAT!!" I knew a fire was gonna start 😂😂

that makes more sense for reality too. we dont put up decorations for Christmas on Christmas
Yes I like to have winterfest eve and have my Sims decorate, light the tree, bake, etc.

Fun fact, you can change every holiday to-do to just streaking. Nothing else. It's my sims default holiday tradition for every holiday
😂😂😂

For me making holidays make my game super laggy so it would be cool to have more that I don't have to make myself :)
@@rereluvs420 don’t mods make the game more laggy?

Great holiday ideas! I love adding holidays to the game but I always forget to do so for each of my saves 🤦🏼♀️

That's weird about the fire pit. I've definitely had multiple Sims roasting over the pit at the same time. It's really cute.
I hate how that gym was built like that. I always make it opened 😂😂
