Can u advise me smrh ? There was a time I bought PBN from a local shop and sadly , 8 out of 10 colors are completely dry like a stone . They exchanged new for me but still the colors don't work . So , I lost my money . Now , I'm really scared to buy a new one after my 4 paintings.
Ohhh no! I’m sure that definitely left a bad impression for you. As intimidating as it sounds, you can mix your own paints to match the ones you can’t use. As long as you get close to the original, that’s all that matters. Has anyone heard if Paintworks is still a functioning business? They were part of Simplicity and on their website but they aren't anymore and the number of releases has nearly stopped. Last new one I was Bicycle on the Beach. Getting worried they're gone. I've hoarded the ones I wanted but I'll be really sad if they're gone.
I have heard conflicting reports, but I know there are still a lot of designs available on the market. If I can’t help you, my amazing & super helpful members will be able to do so. Paintworks has so many beautiful designs {and diehard fans} that I would hate to see them gone forever!
It was nice to see a new video but disappointed that you didn’t actually paint on the canvas to show the opacity of the paints. In any case, thank you for all you do to make the PBN hobby an enjoyable one.
Ohhh, I am so sorry! I was running about 6 weeks behind on this video due to a strep infection, and I totally forgot to do my comparison test for painting on the canvas without clear gesso and with it, which also helps me show you the opacity. 🤦🏻♀️ The swatches I made on the printable canvas gave me really beautiful results, so I do expect these paints to provide me with great coverage, especially once I add my layer of clear gesso {like I always do}. Thank you for your feedback and remaining positive with your comment even though I forgot one of my important tests in my haste to complete the video 🫣.
No worries. We can only do what we can especially when you aren’t feeling well. The paints looked beautiful and that is what is important. Take care of yourself.
