Hi! Oh my goodness, how did we just find your channel today?! Love seeing your year in review, loads of amazing finishes from so many different shops! We love the variety you share here! (The 30x30 Playing Cat and Mouse, that was the acrylic square drill kit. The shimmer drills are resin however, and they fit the grid better. We have stopped using acrylic squares and are now all resin squares, and we have tightened the grid so the gapping should be much, much less now. The grid lines have also been removed/lightened so they can't be seen between any drills. Thank you so much for the honest review and feedback! It truly helps us improve!)

1st time watching you: really enjoyed and subscribed 😊 Not sure if you already know this, but a seam reaper is the best tool to cut the cover plastic: easy to use, cheap to buy and 0% risk of damaging the canvas. I usually fold the cover up and then cut, in order to avoid the tip of the reaper “marking” the glue. Not my idea, but can’t remember where I learned it…

What a fun year of DPing for you! I got 19 done this year and looking forward to this coming year. I’m so jealous you got glass mermaid! She’s on my wishlist because I drug my feet on getting her at restock! If she comes back this year, I’m definitely snagging and working on! I’m bringing 3 WIPS into the year (one is a large JWall that I mapped out as a year long project). The others are DAC & Dreamer. I love them both and glad to kick the year off with a finish of them!

This is the first of your videos that I watched, but I just had to comment because I am currently working on Butterfly Orchid Fantasy -- it's my first Dreamer Designs, and my first square *canvas* (I've done Paintgems and Mini Dazzles) and am also being driven crazy by the gapping! I wasn't sure if it was just my inexperience with squares or what, but I'm finding myself sort of hyperfocusing on it just so I can be DONE with the project and start something new. Now I'm wondering whose squares I want to try next ....

I am doing one of the new drill fields right now on You Got This which was made in November. The improvements are barely noticeable. There is still gapping , not as bad as before but only slightly better and the same with the drill quality. Still lots of trash and misshapen drills. Not as much as before, but still more than I would have expected.

@@susancarpenter4392 I only use multi placers now, very rarely do I even use my single placer…maybe just to move drills if I place them crooked lol. 😂 I probably diamond paint about 5 hours a day, maybe less than that. I’ve never really been able to track my time because I get interrupted constantly it seems.

I have heard some people save the boxes and roll them back up (drills facing out) and keep them stored in the boxes. I didn’t know that ahead of time and I threw my boxes away. However, I’m going to be framing quite a few of them so for now, until I decide which ones to frame, they are just in a pile next to my set up at my parents house. Once I frame the ones I want then I will need to decide what to do with the unframed canvases. When I figure out how I am going to store them permanently, I will let you know. 🙂 I’m still trying to get that worked out. Thank you again for watching! Happy New Year!

I have ordered one painting from the IC, I am hoping it will get here soon. Currently my diamond painting crafting space is very small. Hopefully I will be able to expand in the near future. You might laugh if you could see what I have to work with, but I do my best to make do with what I have. I also love their journals and mugs and will hopefully purchase some of these soon. If I may ask, what other paintings did you order from the IC? Your 2024 journal is very beautiful. I guess we should say the Sky’s the limit!

I have only done three paintings so far, but I have several others One is a Van Gogh from Make Market. Another is called We Are Sun. The other one is a floral as well called Lenten Rose. Then I have several butterfly paintings, sunflower paintings, a Halloween painting, a zodiac painting. And others to start on. I am currently working on one of the Eiffel Tower. I wanted to finish by the end of the Olympics, but it did not happen. Also I have another called Big Red, it’s a tree.🦋
