I didn't think I had to make this comment, but here we go. The map is Yehorivka from the video game Squad, which is based on the actual Yehorivka in Ukraine. I title all my Squad videos like this so people know what factions are playing on what maps. Hell, I even put "Eye in the Sky Squad Gameplay" in the title.
I didn't stop making Afghanistan or Iraqi map videos when my country and others lost lives in those conflicts... because this is a video game.
If you have an issue with this, then I'm sorry you got offended. It's a video game. I never try to pass it as anything else. Grow up.

I was the russian heli pilot with the gunner that match. We spent a lot of time circling point zulu in the middle of the match fending off an earlier push by presumably canadian Sq3. Thanks for the awesome commentary!

Moi, don't feel obligated to always chase the armor. I've seen loads of explosions in Squad but seeing a sapper find a radio in a drain pipe would be a first for me.
That's what I'm saying! I've seen vehicles shoot vehicles forever and a half, it's always the same thing. Infantry combat and small unit stuff is so much more interesting.
Even as someone who didn't get to play this round, watching Canadian armor was infuriating! 😂

I was already thinking that i was gonna die at that moment without my driver, Daun. but the Leo didn't know where i was, i was lucky that i was able to pull the kill and pretty much destroy canadian armor that game, was a great comms between armor and infantry, at least from our side! My Squad and myself was designated on defence the whole of this game, and boy was I exhausted at the end of it but man it was an epic fight for Airfield! GG's to all involved!

Not to make anyone feel bad, I just feel like noting: the Canadians got more kills despite getting absolutely manhandled in the armor category. Canadas armor threw the game for them, they would have won if the battles were even 50/50 in their favor. Canada easily lost 100-150 tickets worth of armor and crewmen with no trade in return. That's tuff.
lone wolves vs a communicating team will get clowned on every single time. Something about vehicles drops people's IQ a good 20-30 points in this game.

21:35 Tanks like the Leo still have almost the same flaw (ammo in crew compartment) as Soviet tanks, just not as extreme (meaning it isnt all sitting right under the turret). Abrams is the only tank being sent over there with completely separate stowage which does wonders for crew survivability. And you can often repair them if the only thing that was hit is ammo stowage, most other tanks are destroyed if the ammo is hit.
That relies on the blast doors functioning. If they are left open or penetrated sufficiently enough you'll have flames taking over the crew compartment killing the loader, gunner and commander at the minimum

The t-72 is fairly survibable, you only think that because most of the videos of t-72's exploding are from top down ATGMs, and any tank is vulnerable to ATGMs. Leopards will explode and cook off too if they're hit with ATGMs, even Abrams are vulnerable.
Every vehicle player should be forced to watch this match lmao. Who would have guessed actually staying near your team and communicating would let you utterly stomp a team that's just doing the stereotypical vehicles lone wolfing crap.
it isnt that simple 😂 I have 400hrs on armor and it usually doesn’t go that smoothly especially when you’re playing around friendly infantry and in most cases they’ll do nothing, or just get you killed so its better to just flank shoot and move while keeping your eye on the map and ears on the radio
@@ohhkennny766 hence the 'communicating' part. Armor or infantry, you're basically blind, helpless, and dumb if you aren't communicating with others both in and out of your squad and covering each other. This match perfectly displays the stark performance gap between people working together(even if it's just surface level coordination. It's not like this was a clan scrim, after all), and people just doing their own thing, looking in the same direction as everyone else, and other bad habits bred by not playing as a team.
Squad has a ton of problems IMO, but one thing it gets right is the necessity of teamwork. Armor players are typically allergic to any and all team play and get sucked into their own little world, and as we see in eye of the sky videos constantly, they just get mogged this way. You just can't play away from your team and be successful unless you get plain lucky. Isolated vehicles just get tracked and clowned on.
@@shadow7988 I never said it doesn't work but it's just highly unlikely, as you're lucky to even play on a server with somewhat coordinated teamwork in the first place lol
@@LostMachinima It's not nice to make assumptions lol, I enjoy teamwork and it's what makes squad fun, but the problem lies with the community itself and since I live in Canada the servers that are playable for me aren't usually the best, I only hop on occasionally nowadays when moidawg is playing as that's pretty much the only time I can hop on a server with actual teamwork instead of everyone just mindlessly running around with no mic SL's and afk commanders, also where's your proof that you have 3000 hrs on armor, at least link your steam as that's a ridiculous number of hrs just on armor and I've known people playing squad for years yet they don't even have that many hours on armor

Infantry never gave the info that the Leo was tracked, i was just waiting to give me that comms (litterally in between i was telling the infantry to give me info if is tracked) just when i saw that smoke coming from the tank we decided to push.

@@slyderace Nope, all i heard was the leo engine, until i saw the smoke coming from the LAT hitting the Leo, we didn't have any mark on map (i don't like to push blind, or you'll get killed)
I'd love to see you do some more long range sniping gameplay. Perhaps with a top tier scope and rifle or perhaps an LMG with a sniper scope because honestly sniper rifles only have limited ammo but an LMG offers a larger supply of ammo and depending on weapon used it'll have enough power for long range shots.
Granted this game has more realistic bullet drop then CoD War Zone but I would use the CoD equivalent to the M249 for sniping with a variable zoom scope. This setup would allow for me to provide close quarters suppressive fire as well as long range precision cover fire, I would recommend testing said load out for use in Squads.

Question y don't squad have attack helicopters wouldn't that be good to have in a war game like only have unguided rockets and the gunner and the pilot for attack helicopters also that one Leo too driver needs some more training or pay attention more first he ran into a dead husk then he ran into a tree and then he ran into a pole just trying to help and yes always need 3crew
Super late reply but idk if you ever got your answer, a couple major updates ago they added more layers along with a rework of some maps, one of which included a close air support heli with rocket pods on it. It was accidentally left in from developer testing but they kept it on the map for players to mess around with it a bit and then was subsequently taken out in the next major update. So they’re definitely considering putting in close air support helis it’s just not in the game right now

One thing that I bet 99% of vehicle players in Squad don't understand is that all armored vehicles, from a recon car to an MBT, should engage the enemy at the furthest possible distance. If you have an LRF and a tank shell that is going 1.5km/s, there is simply no reason for you to be anywhere near the frontline. Same goes with IFVs. If you are an INFANTRY fighting vehicle, and the infantry have MANPATS, then take advantage of your autocannon and mobility to kill the infantry outside the range of their MANPATS.
I know this is boring to play like this, but this is why the Coalition lost so few AFVs in the Gulf War and how Russia is losing their entire stockpile in Ukraine
Russian are not losing their "entire stockpile" Ukraine also uses a lot of those similar tanks, and people forget that Ukraine and Russia both use T72 and not to mention the stockpiles of the t64 on the Ukrainian side look pretty much the same as a t72 so you can't really tell if that tank got blown up is Ukrainian t64 or Russian t72. every time i see this report is "Russian" when I can't tell if they are Ukrainian or Russia.
@@USERZ123XD If you can't identify them, doesn't mean experts can't. There is a huge amount of visual differences between a T-64 and a T-72 because they are 2 completely different chassis.

Very unrealistic...leopard 2A6 was made around 2006 the t72b in the mid 1970s..the t72b would've exploded with the 1st hit from a leopard2a6..it's like a t55 going against an abrams....
