Raw sound, no fx, no reverb. Subtle limiter/compression to get just the right volume, but that's natural for most of vidoes.

I purchased this guitar 2 months ago. I had my co-worker who plays the guitar in a band and he said it sounds just as good as his expensive Martin he has.
I just bought this one a couple of days ago at Guitar center and I love it. I'm 59 years old and have been playing for over 46 years and IMO, this is Fender's best laminate yet . It's not on their website anymore which leads me to believe that for some reason, they've discontinued it. So if you have one, hold on to it because the production on these was only for a short while .
I have just bought it from a Dutch website! I play for quite some years now on a spanish guitar so I am quite excited to go for western!

i wasnt expecting much for this price but this is a good guitar. easy to play with high value sound . still using the standard strings but will swap to ernie balls soon. guess this will improve the sound.

@@mcrstudio8418 fender cd s cut away is beautiful guitar if budget is not issue. There are following brand also you may check out their prices and reviews over TH-cam. Fender cdsce , Washburn , epiphone you will get another beautiful options in epiphone. Then yamaha f310 solid top another beautiful guitar .. I suggest you to visit nearest guitar store play first .. whichever sounds you like most. Please go for it. Fender i recommended because it's has very warm and beautiful sound. You can go with it. But fender cd sce is good investment. One time. Thank you

Yamaha f310 doesn't even come close to this masterpiece. I will buy this one anyday over f310

I just picked up the FA 125 guitar bundle from Costco, then stumbled onto your video during a search. I already own a Taylor and a high end early model Yamaha, but thought what the hell, I’ll buy the Fender as a living room beater. ‘Bout to inbox it! Looks like a fun one. I will not play it as well as you, however. Good God, you’re insane man. The little off the cuff progressions and shifts and runs and tonal changes. You’ve built a lot of muscle and dexterity memory to be able to pull that off. Impressive.

I dig it my brother. Just got it all unboxed and tuned up earlier today. Neck straight as an arrow, no fret buzz, setup seems to be fine. Now if I could just knock the rust off my playing. It’s been awhile. They say you use it or you lose it, but I’m hoping mine isn’t lost, just on ice. 🤣 trying to thaw it out now.

My favorite guitar I own
Went to buy a cheap "weekend guitar" and when I played this in the shop I couldn't believe how nice it was. There's a few niggly things with it, (of course some compromises at this price point), you can fix some things yourself if you are handy, but for the money I paid I think it's a steal and a good for beginners guitar too actually.

Thank you for your kind words Ian. All I do is just take the guitar and play whatever comes to mind so all is my improvisation. Still I may sound similar to something recorded because the amount of "pleasant" chor progression in music has probably already expired long ago. Maybe someday you will find something simialr but unfortunately I'm not able to help you. Maybe some other viewers coul help. Have a great day and congrats on your new purchase :)

Which guitar would be best for active music? This one or the yamaha f310? I tried playing the yamaha in the store and I liked the fender sound better. But I've heard that yamaha has bad strings, which makes it sound worse. After replacing the strings, what will be better than the Yamaha F310 or this fender?

I borrowed this guitar from my friend and this is my favourite guitar right now. Nice big airy tone! too bad its not very delicate but for the price its really good guitar! I have 1k eu guitar but i like this fender more, for the wide airy tone. What guitar would still have this wide airy tone and good delicate tone also? I think of lowden guitars but its bit too pricy. Or maybe gibson hummingbird? but its also pricy but gibson is similar I think?
I'm sorry but this is too individual to advice. Soemtimes we use the same words to describe different tone aspects. Too many factors affect tone. Songle guitar can have many "tonal faces" depends on strings choice (some prefer fresh strings, some others a little weared off, which gives warmer tone) etc

Among FA-125 and CD-60S, which one would you recommend?
I'd go with fa-125, in terms of sound and general quality they are very close, but fa-125 tends to be cheaper, so better advice is to get whichever is cheaper in your country

The best guitar in it's price range , just adjust the truss rod polish the fret board , add bone saddle and nut , brass string pins and then compare it to high end guitar like Taylor .

@@Getnodrama There's an adjustment nut under the strings in the soundhole. The instrument includes instructions on adjusting it.

Fender Fa-125ce or CD-60sce?
CD 60 sce, without a doubt. It is expensive for a reason. Moreover it has a solid top so would give a richer, fuller sound as it age

Personally I’d go for the FA125. If you get a better w the Yamaha, get the F370 instead.

Rahul K listen friend.. I have a fender sa105ce currently and I am more than satisfied as it's the best elctracous. In this price range... And u can go for this too. It's cheaper than the Yamaha's eacous. guitar. And btw. Yes it's 125 is better than Yamaha.

sb goes for a color (sunburst). Ce goes for additional electronics and cutaway (C=cutaway E=EQ)

@@pousainole CD60S is rather a higher model so hard to even compare these two. Keep in mind that CD60S has a solid top not a plywood. Tonally it is better but remember that solid wood is less resistant for bad humidity conditions and similar things. It breaks easier. If you need a "go for a holiday" guitar than plywood top is a little more "heavy-duty". You need to consider many aspects. Some things that make guitars sound great, can also make one be more delicate.

You can use light gauge strings like 11 gauge of Daddario

I just bought this guitar and I was wondering if it's actually a Fender guitar. I ask you this because I was searching it on the Fender official website and I couldn't find it. I jut found the Fender F-115, which is very similar to the F-125. Anyway, I observed that the Fender logo in the F-125 is different than any other Fender logo in any other Fender guitar. Just please let me know if the Fender- 125 is some sort of copy or imitation or if it really is an original Fender guitar.
Hey Daniela! This is a brand new model. Maybe it's missing because they simply haven' prepare the materials for the website yet. In case of other brands there were some cheap models not abel to be found on the website....not quite sure but it was probably a B.C. Rich. Anyway I've borrowed it form a local store which has a contract with official Fender distribution so I belive it's rather an original instrument ;)

I'm not 100% sure now cause it was justa borrowed instrument but Fender puts 12's on most of it's acoustics. Even the cheap ones.
