Back in the spring when I did seed starts I had so many germinate. Far more than we could use, so I just kept them it their containers ( small GATORADE bottles). Kept them alive all thru the spring and summer. They didn't grow but just stayed alive. Planted them for fall garden. They are growing like weeds and beautifully. Cabbage, broccoli, kale
I rather hate to admit this, but I didn’t realize that the soil we grow food in needed to have so many different types of nutrients, and the correct amounts of these nutrients, in order to get the benefits our bodies need to have. When Danny would say this or that particular nutrient was high or low, then say, “ So this tells me I need to add”, fill in the blank. If I had half of the knowledge Mr Danny has, I would be thrilled. Most of all, that I would be able to grow food that was the most beneficial for our bodies. So, thank you, Danny, and to Ms Wanda as well for putting the links in to help us even further. God Bless both of you! I know He is pleased with you two for helping so many of us.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was debating with myself about purchasing a $30+ Soil testing kit from Grower's Solution. I know I can get a less expensive soil test from my local cooperative extension center. I was really waiting for the results from your soil test. I will be buying a soil test kit from Grower's Solution. The analysis and the chart telling minimum and optimal amounts of each mineral was so helpful to me. Guess I will be doing some more research for my container gardening. I haven't read my books lately. (Lol ) I have learned so much from DSH !! I cannot express how much I appreciate y'all and the work you are doing. Also, going to enjoy watching your new high tunnel going up and being used. I've been encouraging my daughter to look for a home place with enough room for a high tunnel 'cause I plan to live with her at some point...and my gardening will save our sanity.
No matter what you and Mrs Wanda do, you folks share so much knowledge and explain all the important tidbits of every subject you touch upon. Thank you so much for being you. Love you'll
Thanks for sharing the results of the soil test. It definitely helps you to know how to adjust things. I look forward to getting the soil test kit when I can. I know it will be super helpful since grow in containers now. Your plants are looking so good in the containers. I'm sure the deer thought they found a feast with your plants so wise to cover and protect them. It is so important to have nutrient dense soil and plants for our well being all across the board. What you've shared has been a blessing and thank you again. Rich blessing back at you and Wanda.
Thank you so much mr Danny. I am so appreciative of all that you do to teach us. I plant mostly in 20 gallon containers with the copper wires. I glean off of every video that I watch of you and miss Wanda. I have written down tons of notes from your videos and live streams and they have helped me grow quite a bit for my family. Hopefully, one day my adult children will also benefit from what I have learned from you both. Just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God continue to richly bless both of you 🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻
OH MY WORLD!!! Your high tunnel looks so good. Love that you have no rocks or hard compact clay on your land. We put up a 30X96 high tunnel on our property in Arkansas. We ended up hiring 4 tough guys and rented a commercial hammer drill to get the post in. Even thru all that, we didn't get it level so it's crooked. Oh well, at least we got it up. Thanks for sharing and all you guys do.
Good Morning Mr Danny and May God bless your every step today🙏 It’s very exciting to see a new high tunnel going up at Pecan Grove and also learning about the container results👍 Thank you for all of the helpful information ❤️
Good Morning Wanda and Danny! Always sharing and teaching, sharing and teaching. You will be very blessed for all the good deeds you do to educate others. I am very grateful, thank you! 😊❤
In the 1960's The Mother Earth News magazine had an article on corn, and the difference between 'store' corn and properly homegrown corn. One would dry and one would rot. The protein content and nutritional value was much higher on homegrown, too. The take-away was 'feed the worms, they're good for your garden and you.'
Danny, are the ranges you read for the nutrients the same for vegetables no matter where you live? Our county extension office does the soil tests. They give the ranges for NPK. For the others, they just give your readings. So you don't know if yours are high, low or in range.
Very interesting to hear the results of y'all's test. We do tests with the local AG center and have paid for the extra tests but never that detailed. The information you gave on all the results was eye opening for sure. Thank you Mr Danny and have a blessed day.
Very interesting! Would be helpful/ educational with a video on what products to add to soil for the low numbers. Thanks for teaching us gardening tips! ❤
Good morning! You mentioned having a food plot for the deer, if you put a water trough over there, would it keep the deer away from your regular gardens?
Thinking about trying the electro culture next year. My carrots were about one inch long, lol. Tomatoes and cucumbers were fantastic. Raised beds only.
I planted carrots in a tub this year. Theyve been providing small carrots for months. I have them in a greenhouse with lights at beg and end of day and a little heater when it goes below 45. Theyre still going. Im in north ozarks. I don't think it heats to that level though. Its 10x20. Your tunnel is awesome!
Good morning Mr Danny! You are an Amazing gentleman and I love your channel. I’ve learned so much following you and Mrs Wanda’s advice. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Good Morning Danny & Wanda, great work as always. This high tunnel is one step to more gardening videos to come, and I can't wait. Have an awesome day guys ❤ The Bahamas 🇧🇸
You may be able to drop the sodium levels could be handled by not allowing the urine from your rabbits to get into the rabbit pellets. They excrete sodium thru their urine. Can be useful but it can but can turn the soil to salty.
Wow, you are doing so well. I'm having a dickens of a time transitioning from in-ground to container growing. As I've mentioned before at 72 with mobility problems I just can't maintain an in-ground garden any longer. I've struggled through and had a little success, but most things just didn't perform as I had hoped. I know there is a learning curve, but I need to figure this out ASAP. I'm happy you had such good results, as usual you really know what you're talking about. Blessings to you and Ms. Wanda as always, g.
Wow that is such a wealth of know about your soil. I agree about the nutrition in the foods back in the days vs now. And I believe the taste of the garden vegetables has changed from when I was a kid remembering how they tasted. Like tomatoes just are not the same bursting with flavor as I remember as a child. Maybe that is just me but how I remember
Send your extra sulfer to me! Our soil is extremely alkaline. When we tested the soil across our property it was between 8 and 9. We went with raised beds....
I have to wait til Wednesday to order perhaps up to 4. Raised beds, ground garden, railroad tracks garden ( used to be railroad) neighbors possible garden area for me. Built 3 of corn hangers last night. Might do several more & have them ready for next year. Unfortunately some corn got mixed with neighbors gmo corn I planted 1.5+ months after he planted. Glass Gem vs yellow corn easily distinguished. The bad mix will be chicken feed.

Amazing. Thank you
Mr. Danny and Ms Wanda you both are truly a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and encouragement.

Good morning from Tunisia 🇹🇳
Congratulations on the wonderful soil test results. Quality soil = Quality food.
I am sending a soil test to Auburn. They are going to test for aluminum too. The geo engineering spraying here in Alabama is crazy.
Thanks for sharing the results of the soil test. It definitely helps you to know how to adjust things.

Rich blessing back at you and Wanda.
Woah new greenhouse!
Scott and Helen Nearing suggested adding granite dust to your soil, so thats what I do.
Thank you. And may God bless you and Wanda and keep you safe and healthy ❤️ 🙏

Good day to all.
As far as deer, I've always had a saying. Eat my dinner ( garden) become my dinner ( venison is yummy if cooked correctly).
High tunnel looks great. Might be longer than my back yard, lol.
Tremendous results! Good hard work always pays off! God bless neighbor!
G’mornin Danny and Wanda.
Thank you for your good teaching a sharing!! God Bless y'all!!
Thank you in this soil testing 🌱
Thanks for the analysis, more understandable now. I sent for my test.

Good morning. That's so exciting. Knowing your so close to our for fathers. That's so fantastic! Take care❤
I'm so happy for you. I have to find a way to get my soil tested.❤

Good morning! High tunnel is looking good! Wow! Those results were incredible!
Thinking about trying the electro culture next year. My carrots were about one inch long, lol. Tomatoes and cucumbers were fantastic. Raised beds only.
I look forward to testing my pots. I really appreciate your knowledge in how to amend the soil.
Mornin’ 🙏🏻
Danny would not be that hard to raise up those pots with maybe boards across cinder block?
Loved hearing the soil results - good job, Danny! Great video takin, Wanda!

Great information. Thanks Danny!

What a beautiful high tunnel mansion it will be. It will be so great to grow food in there. 😊
Very good information 😊 Thank you
Thank you for the information.
Wow. Even without the few little tweaks, your container soil is certain to produce highly nutrient dense plants/food.
Wow that is such a wealth of know about your soil. I agree about the nutrition in the foods back in the days vs now. Wow what an awesome high tunnel. God bless and Much love 💖✝️
WONDERFUL WATCHING YOUR CONTINUED PROGRESS 😊

Let's grow some food. Love it!!!
Send your extra sulfer to me! Our soil is extremely alkaline. When we tested the soil across our property it was between 8 and 9. We went with raised beds....
Good morning Mr Danny and Mrs Wanda...Wishing you a Blessed and Safe Week WOW the phosphorus and potassium 😮 Thank you for sharing your soil results
Great info today Danny! Thank you!
Store bought vegetables are often varieties of that plant that sacrifices taste and quality, & specifically designed for mass production/output.
Are u planning to drill another well since u have drought problems?
Great video lots of information thank you Danny and Wanda

Awesome
Look at the carrots
I planted 3 tubs of carrot seeds but mine aren’t doing that good , but they are actually growing this year
I usually add epsom salts when I fertilize my plants
I'm making a makeshift tunnel with cattle panels because I have so many trees that I'm afraid the limbs would take out a real high tunnel!! 😥
Awesomeness Truespeak Thank You For All You Do 🔥🇺🇸🆙
Thank you I order me one❤
Thank you for the results and explanation of the results, very informative and useful.
they will make themselves the main course of many a winter supper if not careful 😮
I'd like to know if there are good tests for aluminum in the soil...
Can you grow coconut trees 🌴 and banana trees?
Grrreat
Haven't checked in awhile, wow, you went commercial. What .. this was so difficult.
🌼
Add a little ash and you should be awesome
Is that an Angel Wing Begonia (small pot, 2 leaves) in with the butter peas? Is it warm enough for that begonia to be outside?
Yes it goes inside soon
Have you tried bone sauce in pecan Grove?
Where I come from
What about THE BONE SAUCE ?
Added it this week
👍👍😊😊💕💕🙏🙏
Bible foretells terrible winds so tying down your greenhouse very snugly makes sense
👋☕️❤️🙏❤️
Sounds like testing is just a waste of money and time.
Awesome.
