"Family don't end in blood" is a Supernatural tattoo, and it includes the pentagram with wings beneath it. Considering the semicolon above it, this is probably also a "Always Keep Fighting" which is a suicide prevention foundation created by the Supernatural actors. So, it's probably a personal suicide prevention tat.

As for the goat strip-shaped pupils, they've evolved that way to be able to focus on the horizon so they can spot predators. Those predators, wolves, large cats, etc, have vertical pupils so they can focus easier on prey chilling in long grass. So it's an optical evolution game of scissors, paper, rock.

"Family don't end with blood" is a fandom tattoo for Supernatural (it's a quote from the show, and you can also see they have a tattoo for protection against demonic possession - which is heavily featured in the show - just below it, framed by angel wings)
Edit: just saw your comment saying you've never seen Supernatural - I highly recommend it! It seems daunting since it's such a long show, but it's so good imo.

The more you know: Black armband tattoos originally were supposed to be permanent black cloth armbands that symbolize that you've lost someone close to you and are in mourning. Which is common in several western cultures. I don't have one of these but like just thought i'd throw that out there, I don't think a lot of people that have them know what they originally meant to represent. /shrug

I'm no expert in tattoos but I thought the arm bands was like the same idea from Sukana's marks from the anime Jujutsu Kaisen a lot of people have been getting the arm bands because of the character's markings search him up and you will see what I mean.

FYI the tattoo at 8:12 has the greek word for logic/reason (λόγος or lógos) and beneath it is the symbol for the Philosopher's Stone. The Philosopher's stone was something that in antiquity was rumored to have the power to transmute base metals into gold. There's a lot of deeper meanings that people have attached to it and despite the fact that the first harry potter book in the UK edition references the philosopher's stone (in the US version it was called the sorcerer's stone), this tattoo does not have anything to do with harry potter.

Almost, it has to do with Renaissance alchemy, during the Renaissance the intellectuals harkened back to antiquity for new ideas. In the process a new spiritual side of alchemy arose as a result. This does not come from the second century alchemy or antiquity per se, but people often forget this distinction.

Fun tat story: I got these two Star Wars tattoos right below my wrists, just the outlines of the Jedi symbol and the rebellion symbol. I was nervous though, not because it was my first time (it wasn’t), but because it was 9pm and the guy was super high (I don’t smoke so it was a bit uncomfortable of a situation).
I love how she did more complimenting than roasting the tattoos😂

Obviously the Supernatural tattoo has been pointed out, but the smiley face with it is from something too! There's a Dungeons and Dragons show/podcast by Critical Role. There's a character named Jester in the 2nd campaign, who is a prankster basically. Their group becomes pirates for a while and she becomes obsessed with tattoos! She starts tattooing people with this symbol "the mark of Captain Tusktooth." Since then many fans have gotten the mark!
