So glad you did this tutorial, as I have problems keeping the wrapped loop hole the same size. Do you use a consistent spot on your round nosed plier? I saw where you can draw a line on yr plier w a marker but - my marks mostly end up on one of my fingers 😂
Also - what mm headpin do you recommend?

Hi Denise, I'm so glad the tutorial was helpful for you. It is so helpful to mark your pliers for a consistent loop, I also end up with the marker on my fingers and my beading mat......lol...I have to keep reapplying the mark too. Another way I get consistent loops is to eyeball the area on my barrels, kind of zone into where the wire should be placed and use muscle memory, this will take some practice but it is worth it to keep your loops the right size.
I mostly use 22g headpins, but it depends on the hole size of the gemstone, if the hole size is smaller and cannot fit the 22g head pin, I will go down to a 24g. I hope this is helpful and I know your earrings will turn out fabulous for you! Happy beading!!

@@tamagems ah! Very helpful, will keep at it-and think I will look into other headpins mine are so stiff that it is difficult to wrap…thanks again!!
