    Really loved the video, can PSFB be used for step up converters, what are the drawback of using PSFB for a step up instead of step down.. also what challenges do you see them when using at higher power rating 20kW, 50kW or higher.

      Yes can be used. The voltage spikes across the secondary side diodes due to its reverse recovery time and transformer leakage inductance becomes big concerns

    4:56 why D is n*Vi/2*Vo and not just n*Vi/Vo ? where does the 1/2 constant come from in calculing D?

      50% duty cycle. That is half of the period. Basically, half of the time we charge the inductor, and the second half we allow it to discharge.

    In a transformer, as the voltage goes down, the current goes up according to the turns ratio.
    However, in DC-DC converters, the current does not increase when the voltage goes down, but the current is supplied according to the load.
    So isn't it against the principle of V1I1=V2I2?
